Gleeson Homes is a division of the MJ Gleeson Group plc, a company founded in 1903 by Michael Joseph Gleeson. It played a major role in the reconstruction of our cities after the war and has continued to expand in both size of operation and breadth of product.

Gleeson's house building operation spreads throughout England with a head office in Fleet, Hampshire, as well as regional offices in Sheffield where the company was founded and Bury on the outskirts of Manchester.

I just posted this on NRK.

sobad - what did you do to GLE? - Buy some?
It seems to flap about with big spreads and little volume. It will be interesting to see what happens when someone wants to trade in decent size. I would think that it will have to go up quite a bit before profit takers hold any rise - but nor has it fallen enough to have stale bulls keen to get out once they get back to breakeven. So I think it will rise quickly on any serious buying. OTOH I suspect any large seller will be met at the present price. So I am very happy to hold.

Many here lead fantasy lives but I think you are a real trader! Do me a favour please. look at MJ Gleeson (GLE) on L2 or Trades and tell me what you think all the tiny trades are about.

Incidentally i think this is a good buy at 370.

Gleeson shares are being sold off by employees who used to get them cheaply ,prior to them selling off the construction arm, now they have had a good run.

NB Item 13 - implies that the increase was anything but a deliberate act - indeed they might now want rid of some!

Or OTOH, if they had wanted rid of them they would already have sold?

VIGOROUS action today! A massive 15 trades on LSE PLUS 2 on Plus! 25,000 volume. And exciting action at the close with 5204 uncrossed in the auction; amking the 375 a genuine close for a 3.3% gain on a day when the FTSE fell 2%.

And likely to open 370-380 I would guess.

PS If there is anyone else here, please just post a "Hello" to convince me I am not alone! Thanks.

To be sure there is another buyer today - and it's after being himself the Chairman. And he's paid a penny more than I did yesterday. And bought nearly twice as many shares!

I think the L2 prices now 355-365 are anomalously cheap if anyone thinking of jumping on. Looks like a small 1000 sale has taken Wins off the bid 360 and onto the offer 365 so shifting the apparent price down 5p!
