24/9/2018 09:02 | 18BT Have had one read through the Liberium report. Their forecasts for 2018 are marginally ahead of those currently shown on sharepad eg PTP 8.8 v 8.5 eps 4.1 v 4.0 even then the Liberium figs look conservative, for example Assets under management were 4.5bn as at 30th June 2018. Liberium are forecasting 4.9bn at 31st Dec 18. However, the interims state that Assets had already reached 4.8bn at end Aug. At current run rate i would estimate 5.2-5.3 is achievable by year end. As ever the risk with this investment is a market downturn. However in terms of the elements they can control they seem to be performing v. well. | cgequityinvest
24/9/2018 08:32 | Liberum initiation:- "Miton Group is a small fund management company with everything optimised - right people, right funds, right systems. It offers top performing, high active share funds at the right price, and as a result it is gathering assets at pace. The business now has multiple growth pillars. We expect an EPS CAGR of 24% (2017-20E), but the shares trade at a 24% discount to slower growing peers. We believe the 2019 ex cash P/E of 10.5x undervalues the company." TP 84p | podgyted
24/9/2018 06:59 | Looks to me as though 2018 forecasts are going to have to be tweaked up: current consensus PTP at £8.5m and EPS at 4p and they have done more than 50% of that at half year and increase in AUM will continue to flow through to H2. | 18bt
24/9/2018 06:52 | Seem pretty strong to me & on course to beat forecasts imv. “The momentum of our fund flows and performance are strong. The outlook for the remainder of the year is encouraging.” Positive update from Liberum on Research Tree but don’t have access. | xajorkith
21/9/2018 10:45 | Figs scheduled for Monday 24th and share price just nice and slowly going north these past couple of weeks, always a good sign. Way to go DYOR | 29palms
31/8/2018 10:14 | Added a few more on the recent pullback, ahead of next month’s results. Business momentum seems strong & believe there’s a good chance of further upgrades. | xajorkith
09/8/2018 17:22 | I'm expecting them to outperform particularly in the next downturn, which Miton has been lining up for. | sbs
14/7/2018 14:11 | A decisive breakout this week. The company is clearly in a strong growth phase and is set for further share price appreciation going forward. | whiteadder
09/7/2018 09:01 | Just had to pay 62p for s starter holding. Could turn into another lion trust in time. | nimbo1
09/7/2018 08:50 | Excellent stuff. | cwa1
09/7/2018 08:27 | Excellent update & great to see that momentum has been maintained into the summer. | xajorkith
09/7/2018 06:44 | Wow - a fantastic update. Miton are doing much better than they have ever performed previously. Onwards and upwards! | topvest
09/7/2018 06:25 | Very nice update on AuM and IMHO this is looking very undervalued. As always DYOR | 29palms
22/6/2018 18:46 | New 52 week high. Well under the radar until recently and creeping up nicely on good daily volumes. DYOR | 29palms
15/6/2018 18:20 | Bought in here today after giving up on getting some below 50p. With large eps upgrades & a confident FY outlook statement, the surge in momentum seems significantly under-priced on an ex-cash, rolling PE of just over 10. | xajorkith
28/5/2018 17:40 | Yes, making good progress. No steps backward in the last year or so. Hopefully the management changes have helped. Gervais is great as a small cap fund manager, but they needed a new Chairman. Ultimately you can’t be an Investment Manager and run a group like this. You new the Fund Managers focused on their investments and a Chairman and CEO to run the business. Seems to be working better now, with no defections and some positive additions. Happy to hold. | topvest
25/5/2018 08:11 | N+1 Singer Rise of nascent funds, income growth potential We feel progress across the fund range and operationally has gone unnoticed. More nascent funds are beginning to gather assets faster and at scale. The investment process is differentiated and active. Our forecasts show, alongside 15% 3yr EPS CAGR, that Miton has the potential to pay a greater dividend. Looking past the plentiful free cash position, the shares trade on a 8.4x FY19e ex-free cash PER – a 40% discount to peers. Applying a 12x multiple, we set a 60p 12m Target Price and initiate with a BUY. | slopsjon2
