19/7/2021 08:48 | I know video games are a core market for Tencent, but I wonder........... | mdchand

05/7/2021 12:53 | Bizarre we are stuck down here. Perhaps the market wants to hear of some chunky contracts. Stephan indicated we were now negotiating deals of £500k and if anything of that size was won it is material so would be subject to an RNS. | tickboo
05/7/2021 09:05 | Seems very good news, thought the shares might have moved up more as still near bottom of sideways trend. Perhaps ready to break higher now. | its the oxman

05/7/2021 08:34 | More good news from Mirriad! Any ideas who it might be? | janhar
05/7/2021 08:06 | Stephan Beringer, CEO of Mirriad , said: "This agreement sees Mirriad partnering with a company currently managing some of the largest and most diverse media positions in the industry. It allows us to leverage the strong relationships that company has with its clients and other advertising and marketing partners. | hazl

25/6/2021 13:19 | I have followed Mirriad since the float and bought all the way down from 38p. They are my biggest holding in my SIPP but also have them in my ISA and all my family's accounts too! Their technology is second to none and I believe they could be worth £10 in the not to distant future. Also feeling your pain in Bidstack Tickboo - luckily didn't go quite as big in that one! | janhar
25/6/2021 12:35 | I have been following this company for some time. There seems to be huge potential, it just needs to take a few more steps. It is worth IMO a small investment. Of course it is not risk free . | ywdis
25/6/2021 11:15 | Tricky RNS this as it doesnt give investors any tangible numbers, but I sense this RNS is perhaps telling us a great deal more than we realise. Clearly, we won't know how the changing business model will affect revenue until we see Q2 2021 figures from Miri. However, they made a key point mentioning the following passage:- 'A notable further part of the agreement is a commitment from both parties to develop a sales model based on audience reach delivered to advertisers in the Chinese market, allowing Tencent to widen the range of content it can monetise using Mirriad's patent protected and award-winning in-content advertising technology. This includes audience based-buying and delivery, which allows us to scale across more of Tencent's content and it takes us further towards our ultimate goal of programmatic advertising.' I would have thought that any business model would have been 'audience reach' dependent already, so am trying to understand why this statement was worthy of a separate comment? I know Tencent are very keen on audience driven content - see comment below taken from Tencent's most recent quarterly statement (05/21) - which they highlight as a key growth area:- 'We are now incubating the content ecosystem for Video Accounts which connect users with real-life content and bridge high-quality content creators with their customers. We will provide production and monetisation tools to content creators, optimise social-driven recommendation, enrich knowledge-based content as well as add servers and bandwidth to support Video Accounts’ solid growth. We are strengthening the synergies between our long-form and short-form video services. Through the merger of Tencent Video and WeiShi, we will empower long-form video leveraging our short-form capabilities. We will escalate self-commissioned production to further expand our IP content library, and provide video clips that can be adapted by our creator network.' Does anything think both are connected, as audience driven content is absolutely huge in China, and being able to embed adverts on this content could open up huge revenue streams, especially if it can be done on an entirely automated basis. Finally, the last sentence of the RNS states the following:- 'demonstrated how integrating with the Tencent advertising stack can be a blueprint for mass adoption in other markets.' This highlights the importance of the Tencent model - not simply from a revenue perspective - but also how it has been used to open other doors for Miri which perhaps has been its single most valuable aspect. Who knows, perhaps they might do a deal with Youtube next :-) | mdchand
25/6/2021 09:55 | From Lse -This is great news for Miri. There are a lot of duff outfits on the aim. I saw Miri on click on the bbc a few years ago and took a punt. I have since added because they really do seem like the genuine article. I'm also into bidstack and sitting on heavy losses and that is the polar opposite of Miri and is shambolic! Stephen seems like he has no bravado whatsoever and understands that what they offer has huge transformational potential. He seems very focused on the relationships, knowing when to give (initial contract win) and when to take (renewal). He has obviously proven to Tencent this model works. The Chinese are experts in replicating and I'm sure they would have looked at in house solutions for this so obviously the intellectual property and patents the company have are worth a lot otherwise they would not have renewed and just copied the format. A lot of big Corps seem to want to sign up across the globe and a lot of boards have been jolted into turbocharging on line options due to Covid and changing consumer behaviour. I'm really excited that my substantial holding (for me anyway) will in a few years be life changing as this company continues to grow. I'm an amateur investor so do your own research all and good luck everyone! | tickboo
25/6/2021 08:36 | He is just trying his luck because it's a tech firm I expect. There are so many better candidates I would think,he's on a sticky wicket here. | hazl
25/6/2021 08:20 | Chinese. Patent protected. LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!! | eeza
25/6/2021 08:15 | Again I would suggest they have found us valuable as they wish to broaden the use of content they can monetise using the technology. Also note the word 'patent'. ' A notable further part of the agreement is a commitment from both parties to develop a sales model based on audience reach delivered to advertisers in the Chinese market, allowing Tencent to widen the range of content it can monetise using Mirriad's patent protected and award-winning in-content advertising technology. 25/6/2021 08:10 | I think it's very important. The removal of exclusivity clauses to align with the various US and European companies,is strategic I would suggest. Hopefully favorable . | hazl
25/6/2021 07:50 | Much better. Hopefully stop the downward pressure. Changing terms on new deals takes time but worth waiting for. Good stuff! | tickboo
