In my opinion without any new contact news this should be trading at cash plus 15m that's where the market was valuing it before Covid-19.Cash burn is obviously the biggest issue here and that will not get transformed overnight but their tech has real value to some real big players and a seven figure contract would be of no surprise to me at all in the months ahead.Going by the last options packages the directors have faith in their offering lets hope they can deliver.

Only a few T10 trades like the one on Friday that matches on the 15th showing as closing.Next week will be interesting to see if the trades from 17th roll over, sell or were actual investors.
Results due out on 12th May which should at the minimum provide guidance on the latest potential contracts (hopefully signed) as referred to in the last update

" Tencent and Mirriad are working on additional ways to deepen and strengthen their relationship and Mirriad hopes to update the market on specific new developments over the next few months".

"Mirriad can also report steady progress in its partnership discussions with a number of leading global entertainment companies. Likewise, interest and demand from certain multinational consumer brands is growing at an equivalent pace".

Absolutely riddlerone.

Good observations, whether progress has been slowed or hastened though,is anybody's guess.

Interesting well above average volume for the day on Friday. So now sitting on at least 15/16m cash and with no TR1's indicating any reduction in holdings since the placing which was at 15p.Has anything changed with the company's prospects since the raise and would they buy more at a discounted price to the 15p paid. Obviously progress would have been slowed by Covid-19 but going by the last updates looks still well on track. With huge amounts of people locked in looking at streamed video can you ever see a better time for Mirriad to showcase their benefits. For me the downside risk looks low at the moment but upside looks excellent

Great posts today.
Also look at the end of this...is it rising in anticipation?
March.
' Mirriad continues to make good progress in its key partnership with Tencent Video ("Tencent") in China. As previously announced to the market, Mirriad has a guaranteed revenue arrangement with Tencent covering the two years ending 31(st) March 2021. Following initial disruption caused by the sudden impact of the coronavirus in China, Tencent has resumed activity with Mirriad, placing advertising orders over the last two weeks from Luckin Coffee, Mengniu Dairy, Enterprise WeChat and Huawei.

Tencent is continuing to develop the market for Mirriad's in-video advertising product in China and, in addition to repeat clients, is expecting to continue to acquire new customers over the months ahead. Tencent and Mirriad are working on additional ways to deepen and strengthen their relationship and Mirriad hopes to update the market on specific new developments over the next few months. '

I doubled up when these were sitting on NAV. Re their recent RNS, very interested to see when they announce a) who the pivotal advertiser WAS and b) Typical uplift in consumer spending.

The thing about Miri - unlike most generalised TV advertising - is that (and this is supposition on my part) that you can correlate the additional cost of the 'in-video advertising' to the consequent uplift in spending. ie track before and after effects which makes it a very easy decision (hopefully) for advertisers to say that for x in-video advertising here, we get x times consumption etc.

Identifiable correlated advertising with significant sales impact would have a huge LT impact on their share price Hopefully we will get the details prior to the 12 May, but can understand why they might want to sit on the results until then.

Of course, if they could throw in a tie with Netflix (or anyone else) on the 12 May, I suspect that would have a rather beneficial effect on the share price

I remember when the Tencent deal was announced 200% increase at one point from similar low levels. Was very encouraged by their previous market update which says

"Mirriad can also report steady progress in its partnership discussions with a number of leading global entertainment companies. Likewise, interest and demand from certain multinational consumer brands is growing at an equivalent pace.

Mirriad is also pleased to report the highly successful conclusion of a pivotal campaign with a leading advertiser in the USA. The results of the campaign were verified by a renowned independent research company. They will be reported in more detail shortly but showed that a combination of Mirriad in-video and standard spot advertising significantly helped drive frequency of consumption and amounts spent."

Results due 12th May so could be a blockbuster coming at any point

Don't forget.....from a recent RNS...

'Mirriad Advertising plc, the computer vision and AI platform company, announces grants of Options over the Company's ordinary shares of GBP0.00001 ("Options") under its Long-Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP") set up as part of its IPO in December 2017. This is to align the Chief Executive Officer's incentive and issue grants to its Chairman and an independent Non-executive director. This step reflects the Company's recent fundraise and aligns the incentives of the Chief Executive and independent Non-executive directors with those of shareholders over the longer term. The performance options have a 15 pence strike price. '

“We will see a real push into programmatic buying in 2020. It’s a small portion of buying today; however, it will have the fastest growth rate of any segment in the space doubling to tripling in scale. The winners buying this way will develop creative specifically for the podcast medium, respecting the listener with an inclusive conversational tone. ”
