It’s coming to a head now, I’m sure we will find out very soon, if there is a buyer in the background?

atlantic I think that is an extremely honest summary, now is the time.

I believe we in GB,Uk are in for a huge recession, I think youngsters and the comfortably off have driven house prices too far. This massive squeeze of inflation and therefore interest hikes is going to have casualties.

The rich will take advantage as they always do, the home countries as a whole will suffer more than ever before because very few still remember interest rates at sleepless night levels.
I still do.

Yes we have to wait for the next rns to see exactly what progress has been made.

Rear view mirror

It is very difficult to visualise how the directors could have believed that talks with all the interested parties they have spoken to in the last 8 years could have ever led to an offer. They are now doing the work that was always needed to get the project moving

The future

As has been discussed extensively on this bb all the ducks are now in a row and there is no reason why they cannot delver substantial returns to shareholders from these depressed price levels. Microscopes summary is a good one.We need clear unambiguous
statements from the board .

a) Where are we with the discussions with the foundation and how long do we intend to carry on talking to them.

b) How will the board seek to to commence the commercialisation of the project.

Yes I agree there is a lot more substance to todays announcement then the usual " next year will be the most exciting ...."

However the board need to undestand that the business cycle is always changing.Recessions and liquidity crunches are a strong possibility next year.

They need to seize the moment, today is the day of opportunity.

Indeed and time for 'some show and tell' with the next update before the AGM

It all sounds very encouraging and that meaningful progress is tantalisingly close. For sure assuming real progress is made with negotiations and the business plan is published, a market cap of £7 million is ridiculous when the NAV is £45 million at least!

Some are reading it in a positive light as we have a few buys coming in now, more than sells at the moment.

It is but it's incredibly frustrating. I will be pushing them to release a full and clear update in a few weeks, including on where they are with the church (on which I understand both parties want to close a deal) and the Deloitte business plan and numbers (if they are close to what I think they are, the market will be very happy).

I'd hope George will also report back on next steps etc.

Fozdad, yes possibly we will have further board changes. If Gilbert or someone of his stature were to become involved that would spike investor interest. Also perhaps we might see financial restructuring, such as a 1 for 10 share consolidation , fundraising and loan repayment. An announcement really must be made before the 29th in my view. It's not good enough to have the AGM within hours of results. It would give shareholders insufficient time to produce a considered reaction.

Microscope, maybe the words “substantive developments …. Within the company” will result in less of those three words in the future?

I don’t know why you’re disappointed CT, I’m more encouraged by these last two RNS’s than any since they sold the travel agency. It appears that we are actually going to be given progress news and a view of how we are going to move forward. How refreshing and a great change from the usual “we look forward to reporting greater progress in the next reporting period”.

Yes, we all know that a placing is coming, the company can’t run on fresh air, but for years we haven’s seen any evidence of what (if anything) the company has been doing behind the scenes to progress this opportunity.

Hopefully, we are now seeing the influence of our new man and is a sign of a more transparent and progressive future.

That’s what I said waterloo01, as I genuinely think they will provide sufficient information to lift the share price even if they fund at 1p at the same time. However I will not hang around, as at worst I would rather take a small profit on all my holding, whilst volume with undoubtedly be strong, or at worst take the support at the funding level but having thought about it, I am pretty sure I will be able to show a small profit by selling on the day the information is released.

Good luck to all though.
