09/2/2022 14:10 | Sounds about right atlantic but an early turned down bid would certainly liven things up. DC | daicaprice
09/2/2022 14:06 | At the egm of 2018 an ex director of Minoan ( Terence Brown) stood up and stated that he believed the site could not be sold for more than £20 million pounds. The bod rejected his claims.Clearly they have a figure which the major shareholders regard as acceptable. Most longe term holders here will have paid much higher prices initially but will have averaged down. I suspect that all the shareholders that have been here for a while recognise that further placings will occur for working capital. Loan roll overs are also likely to continue to be negotiated until such time as the board advise us that they have signed a contract with one or more third parties. | atlantic57
09/2/2022 13:40 | I would expect a bid of £25-£30M to be turned down but it would certainly move the share price to realistic levels, my guess would be closer to the audited valuation of £46M. I’m happy to wait and see it through with 75% of my holding. DC | daicaprice
09/2/2022 13:15 | The silence is concerning, the lack of meaningful trades is a worry too. I’m sure as with most AIM plays watch out for signs of a leak a queue to probably buy or sell I reckon the site will sell for £25-30M max, let’s see who’s right, I have these on my watch list but not a spec buyer as too heavily invested in IAG & EasyJet which are starting a nice move higher, maybe signs leisure and travel are attracting investor interest.GL Happy to be proved wrong with this one of course. | ny boy
09/2/2022 11:39 | Whats the odds on a consolidation at say 50-1 and a raise? | clocktower
09/2/2022 09:44 | That 12k down could be reversed in an instant and probably will be shortly I suspect..... You pays your money and takes your chance! | nobbygnome
09/2/2022 09:27 | New Development Law paves way for Tourism growth. DC | daicaprice
09/2/2022 09:25 | Good Luck Nobby but around £12k down so far is not to bad, all things considered but as this thread seems to have more dreamers on than any other, I leave you all with this for the day. | clocktower
09/2/2022 09:11 | I would dance a jig at 11p and I have 2 left feet. | rafboy
09/2/2022 09:00 | My average is 1.2p so 11p would be amazing.....but 4-5 would be more than acceptable! | nobbygnome
09/2/2022 08:57 | First Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Greece to Open at Costa Navarino The new Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino will be located in a breathtaking 140-hectare natural landscape at Navarino Bay, an integrated resort area in the region of Messinia in southwestern Peloponnese. Crafted by Tombazis & Associates Architects and K-Studio, the unique design is aligned with Costa Navarino’s sustainable principles, featuring planted roofs blending into the natural environment and local materials. Navarino Bay is already home to The Bay Course, an 18-hole signature golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, as well as the award-winning earth-sheltered Bay Clubhouse. Didn't Tombazis & Associates Architects win a competition a few years back for the design of the site at Grandes Bay ?? | wi1l
09/2/2022 08:33 | Why do I think you are being disingenuous. | waterloo01
09/2/2022 07:51 | What do you guys expect the sale of the site to realise..£70M, that’s only 11p a share and change, is that all the expectations are for the sp, I expect some in at much higher levels will want more than that? | ny boy
08/2/2022 13:18 | Nice to see you back scotty, hopefully timed to perfection. DC | daicaprice
08/2/2022 12:54 | Back in with a few as I have a feeling in my water although that could just be a urinary infection 😃 | scotty1
08/2/2022 10:25 | Tim Having been a shareholder for 8+years I certainly intend to stay the course. | atlantic57
08/2/2022 09:56 | Atlantic, I’d add that even if I were certain that no deal would happen, I personally wouldn’t sell a single share - I’m often wrong and there are many clever and significant shareholders who are not selling. Moreover, things change and what appears to be the case today can easily change tomorrow. Finally, the upside is so immense here that imho it would be daft for anyone to sell out completely. If investors’s portfolios were made up exclusively of shares like this at the current price, I think they’d do pretty well over the long term. | tim000
08/2/2022 09:48 | Another possible clue was the generally reticent WHI being first on the board 7.30am sharp looking for sellers at 1p. | wi1l
08/2/2022 09:42 | Ny boy I plead guilty to have posted similar posts on many occasions and yes all the points you make are valid. However I have come to the conclusion that there is no point in restating them. Either you think that no deals will ever be done , in which case you sell . Or you believe that given the disparity in valuation at some point in time a deal will be done at a significantly higher price than 1p. I see little benefit in speculating on dates as to when things will happen. The rns statement is the guide as to timing of events unfolding. | atlantic57
08/2/2022 09:40 | But you don't need to keep repeating it; that is troll like behaviour! | nobbygnome
08/2/2022 09:19 | Nobby not a troll view just the other side of the coin, I will look out for 10-50M trades as a sign something is brewing, until then nothing doing. | ny boy
08/2/2022 09:06 | >> NY boy The risk reward here is positive because of the massive discrepancy between the asset value and the current price. Yes I know the history.....and your repetitive posts yet again are not worthy of you. This is troll like behaviour! We know your view; you don't need to keep repeating it! | nobbygnome
08/2/2022 09:03 | Yes good to see. | rafboy
08/2/2022 08:57 | Nice 460k to soak a few up of the overhang. DC | daicaprice
07/2/2022 15:08 | Waterloo, I admire your positivity but I will remain a doubting Thomas, just don’t see anything, not even any big trades to suggest something is brewing. | ny boy |
