Lol hardly, I has here trading in 2016/2017 during a couple of spikes, sold out last time above 11p, those were the good old days, took the wonga and ran to Ψηλορε^3;της

Now they survive on short term loans, so any ramp up now will be an opportunity to try and get a placing away at 1p max, it’s coming or they risk running out of cash to survive imo

If there would be anytime to buy it would be after/if they get a substantive placing away, not now before the placing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Greek developer Reds has offered the highest bid for a sprawling former US military base on Crete at 40.2 million euros, privatization agency TAIPED said on Monday.

Four investors bid in October to acquire the 85-acre plot in Gournes, outside the city of Iraklio, and turn it into a seaside tourist resort with an entertainment park.

So only £475k an acre for a substantive beach front plot, big sites attract interest, the site here is tiny (0.5% build of land)in comparison hence little interest, if it was that good there would be queue of buyers or a rival would make a cash offer for the MIN!

Minoan have been spinning this one out for years, like flogging a dead horse, now so short of cash have to keep extending short term loans at high interest rates. Something doesn’t quite stack up here.🧐

Based on market research and following consideration of this scenario, in our view the estimated development value of the land plot is likely to be in the order of €100 million. The value could naturally reach higher levels in case the land plot is more densely developed.

Question is, is part of the land to be valued at the sort of level one would pay for land in the Highlands or is it to be valued at a resort level without services.

For example, how much is 6,400 acres of land worth that is only good for sheep and deer?

Maybe a google map link could be posted of the parcel in question.

I didn't realise just how many acres are in 1 sq mile.

So, 10 sq miles = 6,400 acres.

Not bad by comparison. :-)

Greek economy takes off 13.4% in Q3 on investments, tourism



The Greek economy showed explosive growth of 13.4% in the third quarter of 2021, according to provisional data released today by statistics service ELSTAT.


According to the figures, tourism gave a strong push to the Greek economy, after the deep 10% recession seen in the third quarter of 2020, as on an annual basis service exports jumped by 84.6%, while in general export activity was impressive, advancing 48.6% with the fixed capital investments showing an increase of 18.1% and consumption up by 7.3%.

Nice blue day on what looks like nett sells of 670k if my assumptions of buys/sells is correct. I almost hit overall profit at the peak bid.
I promised myself I wasn’t going to but added 102k today.
