Still don't appear to be able to buy any but that can change in a moment esp if they've been keeping a few trades by to give that impression.

Just wait for the twitter/momentum traders to arrive. I know many find them reprehensible, but we do need some speculative money to get the share price to a point where it better reflects prospects. Anything under 3p, where directors took shares would seem to me an excellent entry price.

The share price is nowhere near reflecting a realistic valuation of the project in my view.

I agree with you both Will and Waterloo.

Good posts.

Will he or won't he?

Is the seller still in the wings?

No doubt in my mind that they will deliver. I think I mentioned here before that at the EGM, ALL the directors, and most of those that swapped loans for shares, were clear they wanted to get this finally over the finishing line.

Upside from 2p should be significant.

It is pure guesswork trying to establish who the seller is.

If the Bod are able to provide an rns to the market confirming that they have a legally binding contract with a third party.!

It is literally as simple as that.
Once that has been announced we can all see the value of min.

We havent seen what can happen to the share price when there's considerable buying interest. The laws of supply and demand will apply. Demand will be high and supply might not be so forthcoming.
No sign of the seller over the last couple of days either.

All the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle have been put into place, albeit gradually. Just the final ones to fit in. The first JV about to cross the finishing post.Once one is signed and sealed they will have the format for the others which will hopefully follow on soon after. The share price should reflect a much improved market cap once they complete on the JV.

The market cap is what it is. For someone looking to invest it's today's share price and where it's going that matters.

Money's in, balance sheet cleaned up, debts converted to stock by long term backers, directors taking fees at 3p.

Directors who will obviously know a lot more than us were prepared to invest recently above the present share price is surely a good sign........well it is in my opinion even if the last two years have been a great disappointment to say the very least.

Low volume again today, I am somewhat surprised both in light of the crazy (in my opinion) SP/market cap and add to that the report that Waterloo posted late last week.

Very much looking forward to the day when the key risk here of not being able to close a deal is put to bed when a JV (already mentioned in the Chairman's statement) is finally closed. Then we can start talking about values and paths forward and all that much more enjoyable and constructive speculation.

When a deal is closed, and some numbers become clearer, what will the share price do. How many multiples of today's market cap? 2, 4, 6, 10 x?

Another troll by the username lsehotdealz haha, share price is stagnant and there’s talks of fundraise at 10p on that board lol desperation has lead to going round posting on different board to prevent share price from dropping, usually ud stay quiet and average down and accumulate if you see huge potential lmaoo he’s spamming all the boards

I did attend an Investor presentation last week by PPHE Hotels (ticker PPH)and managed to 'plug' them a little on Greece. They are under NDA for a hotel 'conversion' in Athens, but this is a different market to any Crete hotels, where PPH have a general strategy of targeting Business persons in the week, and families at week-ends.

They claimed not to be aware of Minoan, or loyalward, but were not surprised that a development from scratch could take decades in Greece. PPH strategy (and the way to do it in their opinion) in Greece is to buy and convert an existing hotel (easier said than done) or pre-existing site.

This does tie in and confirms with Minoans reported problems and issues over the Project.

PPH also stated any holdups would now probably be ''local issues'' but unfortunately time ran out before I could push them on what that exactly meant

Thanks for the link. It would seem both parties in Greece are very supportive of investment in the sector (and tax cuts would be very welcome as would the increase in floor space allowed if prove energy efficiency).

"According to Mitsotakis, the government’s goal is to have two VAT (value-added tax) rates of 22 percent and 11 percent. The total tourism package would be charged the low 11 percent rate in order to for Greece to become more competitive as a tourism destination.

“This is not something that will happen overnight, but gradually in four years time,” he clarified.

Mitsotakis also added that the government plans to proceed with a cut in the business tax from 28 percent to 20 percent and a 5 percent tax cut in dividends (from 10 percent it is today).

At this point, the opposition leader announced that his government also plans to increase the building factor (additional floor space) as an incentive to hoteliers if they demonstrate higher energy efficiency.

“We want to find ways to work with the tourism industry to encourage investment without compromising sustainable development,” Mitsotakis added, underlining the importance of protecting the environment. “Tourists demand that the environment (of the country they visit) is protected,” he stressed.

Waterloo Minoan is a fascinating case !

Normally given the fact that the major shareholders backed this and some at higher prices than the placing ,you would normally expect the insider buying would send the share price sharply higher.

However here unusually the share price has fallen sharply from the placing price.
We are all clinging to the lifeboat Minoan in the hope that the ss Egleton will steam
Over the horizon imminently announcing a cracking deal . We shall see.

Perhaps we will see some further buying next week which will reinforce that.
