Most probably will be Scotty. But who knows, there might well be significant interest from more than one party, with a bidding war pushing the price higher and higher. The Bod give little or no information merely give a juicy taster for starters, with (possibly) considerable potential for a decent main course and then a news blackout to allow the imagination to run riot!
However:
The site and development is a one-off and such a project is rarely available. Property prices in Greece/Crete are rising sharply especially tourism related assets such as hotels and the company has planning permission to build five of them. Tourism itself is increasing year on year. The Sitia airport is being improved and updated to cater for higher levels of holiday makers coming in from all over Europe. The roads leading to the NorthEast are much better and it takes less time to travel there. Golf couldn't be more popular. Unemployment in Greece is coming down. Even the Greek banks are able to lend again.

It would appear then that the time is right to start this development. It must be worth at the least £45M or the Loyalward accounts would have had to make provision for impairment. No mention of that in them merely I think that they had to prove to the auditor that there was enough interest generated to justify the amount they have in for inventories of about £45M.

Still everything to play for and not long to wait IMHO ………;....……….

Post disposal and paying off the debt, I hope things will start moving somewhat quicker. The most likely is that someone makes a bid for the company. Something in the range of £20m - £30m would be my best guess. Not a great deal considering they need to spend Euro 250m over the next >10 years and counting, so needs to be a decent sized player, or one with deep pockets.

The net is closing in

Board lost control now

'In the six months to the end of April 2018 turnover in the travel agency arm rose by 17 per cent to £4.9 million while pre-tax profits increased from £170,000 to £455,000.

The Greek resort arm, meanwhile, generated no revenues but saw its losses widen by 67% from £839,000 to £1.4m.'

You'd like to think The Herald would have done their own research before publishing that article however I'm still not 100% convinced that Zachary are the purchasers. Nothing has yet straightened out the ambiguity of that RNS.

The suitors for the T&L business have now had time to set up their own Business independant of Minoan. Surely any sale is dead in the water after all this time?

===================================================================================

I suspect that's what they actually did, then try and copy MINS business model, marketing strategy and customer base etc.

All sounds idyllic KMann. "With planning" though, regardless of how fast you say it, might take a while yet!

You have changed the subject away from your deliberate distorted post kmann. Unlike you I pick the phone up and speak with Companys, its amazing what you can find.

Share price then 8.75p

Share price now 5.02p - 43%

As a small criticism, shouldn't he have said '' to achieve maximum value for US'' NOT '' achieve maximum value for them''?

He obviously sees a disconnect between the Board and shareholders.

' valued at £100M'

I wish people would stop quoting this. This is the BUILT OUT value.

'Are Zachary flexing their muscles ?'

From other board. 'They are I think ‘calling it in’ a roundabout way by exercising their warrants to assume an interest in the travel deal-and still owning a big chunk of Crete.'
