The suitors for the T&L business have now had time to set up their own Business independant of Minoan. Surely any sale is dead in the water after all this time?

===================================================================================

I suspect that's what they actually did, then try and copy MINS business model, marketing strategy and customer base etc.

All sounds idyllic KMann. "With planning" though, regardless of how fast you say it, might take a while yet!

You have changed the subject away from your deliberate distorted post kmann. Unlike you I pick the phone up and speak with Companys, its amazing what you can find.

I would like to thank all our shareholders for their patience and forbearance to date and to reassure them that the Board's overriding objective is to achieve maximum value for them.

Share price then 8.75p

Share price now 5.02p - 43%

As a small criticism, shouldn't he have said '' to achieve maximum value for US'' NOT '' achieve maximum value for them''?

He obviously sees a disconnect between the Board and shareholders.

' valued at £100M'

I wish people would stop quoting this. This is the BUILT OUT value.

'Are Zachary flexing their muscles ?'

From other board. 'They are I think ‘calling it in’ a roundabout way by exercising their warrants to assume an interest in the travel deal-and still owning a big chunk of Crete.'

Align were well out of order and had ignored a verbal agreement and direction they had with MIN. They will not make that mistake again.

pj1, of course he intends to sell, ffs! Pretty soon this will have a realistic asset value, at least double this, you can wait for a CS deal (buyout), in which case cash is divided out, then this becomes a cash shell, or for full scale development, RTO, who knows. Its all positive and debt free from here.

NS talking about the inside, Align certainly went silent, any of that meeting coinciding with this announcement? Maybe they are giving guidance, they hinted as such, i hope so.

By the way, were you the one telling everyone there was no meeting with align?

There hasn't been a massive bailout on the news. Everyone is still holding as it (presumably)will only get better. Have more confidence that T&L will finally be sold to Zachary who probably have enough funds to hold onto it until the right buyer comes along and then off-load it, whereas Minoan were always up against it time-wise with an elderly Bod. Zachary buying thus the Hillside loan will be repaid in full fits well for both sides IMHO. After all where would we all be now if they hadn't agreed to buy the T&L business, consider that(but briefly!!).
At the beginning of the year I thought the company selling the T&L business leaving it debt free with an asset in Crete with a PD and unappealable planning permission valued at £100M that had a market cap of only £10M had huge potential for gain. Its been a long wait but still think that will be the case, momentum has shifted and centre stage once the dust has settled should now be the CS project.

At least it's not quite all back to normal. CE taking a 50% wage cut is quite right and it will equally help focus his mind on the job at hand. Clearing debt and doing some stellar deals in Crete. I'd assume Zachary have a buyer for T&L, they aren't going to run it. Let's hope the warrant price doesn't go below 5.5p. As to if they will offload / hold, guess that depends on if they can see the near term upside, should some deals eventually be done.

Sounds like a forced sale to Zachary

Third parties walked away

Board doesn't seem now to be in control of events

Wild West country

Glad I sold at 97p

Even then made a loss

KMann, I believe he is, like most of us, still a believer that this will come good, and soon, and be very profitable.

But I also believe, that like most of us, he is tired of this saga now; and tired of the BoD that just never seem to get out of first gear.

I've rambled on too much, given I clearly know so little! :)

So have a good weekend folks! Hope next week, after the August holidays, we can start moving back to where we should be.

...seriously, if it is Zachary - shouldn't we have been informed of the "related party" aspect before today and the point they appear to be at. Some previously suggested directors maybe buying and I disagreed as we hadn't had "related party" notice. So is this a back door for them? Call me a cynic.

Also, can't remember who as I write, queried whether we still need to approve. But we do as CE confirmed this morning on RNS.
