31/1/2018 18:57 | keya5000 - thanks. I haven´t really been following the story here. Have been watching with dismay as DALR slides.... ; ( | thecynical1
31/1/2018 16:18 | See news flow on the website ref 2m CAD private placement sold at 0.3CAD, so backed up by a buyer plus hardly surprising given remaining assets in the company and zinc price. | lendmeafiver
31/1/2018 16:16 | Well the recent placing was at that level for $2m when it's not listed. Would not expect a much lower IPO level than that. The fund thats lumped in the $2m would not be very happy, | keya5000
31/1/2018 16:08 | how do you get the 30 cents a share value? seems fairly damn optimistic to me...? ; ) | thecynical1
24/1/2018 22:20 | korelin economics report 23 jan had a piece on Marathon gold - they are the most advanced in the Valentine Lake area where Buchans also holds ground. | bageo
24/1/2018 14:37 | DV once suggested to me that could be a plan. | keya5000
22/1/2018 23:19 | Would love to think Buchanans would use Xtierras listing as the assets are much closer to production. What a stroke that would be with Pacific Road's shareholding shrunk!Otherwise we'll be back drilling holes for the foreseeable with Buchans... | anynews
22/1/2018 21:03 | That explains it - already delayed the payments as much as the original agreement allowed. Question is is Xtierra just useful for the listing or the assets too? | bageo
22/1/2018 09:41 | I stand corrected, thanks Bageo. From the accounts it would seem pacific road that were pushing for the restructuring as they had even stopped contributing to the running costs of xtierrra. Also important for Buchanan as they are close to listing. In August 2008, theCompany acquired the outstanding 25% interest in the Bilbao property for total consideration of $5,000,000 of which $2,500,000 was paid on the closing date and a further $500,000 was paid one year after the closing date. The remaining balance of $2,000,000 is payable in four consecutive equal payments of $500,000 each, the first such $500,000 annual payment to be made at the time of commencement of construction of any mine developed on the Bilbao concession but in any event shall be payable in full no later than August 2018. | anynews
22/1/2018 06:18 | anynews - where did you see about the yearly payment of $500k for 4years - I must have missed this. The latest I had seen was $2m was to be paid in August which seems to put the restructuring with no new cash in a strange position as it still wouldn't resolve this. | bageo
21/1/2018 23:05 | Im a permanent UK resident so I believe will simply pay capital gains in the UK, I don’t think we need to worry about dividends. | lendmeafiver
21/1/2018 22:49 | Does anyone have experience of trading shares on the Tsx? Would we have to pay tax on any income? I've looked on the internet and it says it can be up to 30% of any returns. | djb3
21/1/2018 20:59 | Thanks for the updates. Strange restructuring deal for Xtierra - All Buchans get for keeping the Company afloat is thier money back and Warrants for 13mil shares @ .05cents. Either the management see the future shareprice as a multiple of this or it a poor deal? Wonder who is getting their hands on Pacific Roads 50Mil share sell off? I thought cash strapped outfits like this were its bread and butter.. From their accounts it amazing to see that they are still paying $50k a year to keep Laguna licence active?? Of course there is a small matter of a yearly payment of $500k for 4 years from August to retain the last 25% of Bilboa. Bought some recently but they are going in the bottom drawer. | anynews
20/1/2018 10:43 | I strangely have enjoyed the fact we aren’t listed currently, it has prevented me from doing anything stupid like selling up and has stopped me focusing on irrelevant daily share price movements! | lendmeafiver
20/1/2018 09:18 | Know someone who spoke to DV last week. Suggested listing around April. | keya5000
20/1/2018 09:02 | Thanks for that lendmeafiver. Not sure I can put two and two together here to understand what - if anything - this restructuring might do to support the listing of Buchans Resources Ltd shares ? | bodgit
19/1/2018 22:23 | Restructuring announcement is in their website dated 16th. | lendmeafiver
19/1/2018 21:29 | I see that Xtierra shares doubled today. Any thoughts on what may lie behind that rise? | bodgit
04/1/2018 23:35 | Given the zinc and manganese assets what are the views here on the upside share price if prepared to hold this for the long term post listing? What are those assets likely to be sold for sum of the parts? | lendmeafiver
04/1/2018 17:36 | Also we don't actually know what the fund paid it wasn't 30c. They bought them second hand from Canadians who benefits from the tax relief. I don't know how much the discount was maybe around 26c would have been the non tax efficient price. Still it would have a private company discount as others have correctly stated so listing should be higher. An example hxxp://www.rcgcorp.c common shares of the Company at an issue price of $0.175 per Common Share flow- through shares at a price of $0.20 per flow-through shares | bageo
04/1/2018 16:34 | Likewise. needed to book in the gain to offset the risk that now loos very worthwhile. If you are in at 30cents for $2m on a PP into a none listed vehicle you must have had a good sales pitch given. Not sure they will be looking for 40 or even 50 cents with that risk profile. | keya5000
04/1/2018 12:14 | Well the last release from Buchans refers to 2.3m share in Dalradian being held, when the deal happened Buchans held 3,872,666 I believe, so it does look like that is the case. Fine with me, I sold mine on the first day of trading. | lendmeafiver
04/1/2018 11:28 | is the sale of Buchans holding in DALR fact or speculation? | glitter2
03/1/2018 19:12 | lendmeafiver - I agree on where the value is, but I see more value in Douglas Lake gold than in Xtierra but that doesn't seem to be listed on the website but was covered in the last Buchans quarterly report. Xtierra only seems to get a mentioned due to being listed. Significant amounts have been spent there but there doesn't seem to be anyway to realise value. | bageo |
