is the sale of Buchans holding in DALR fact or speculation?

lendmeafiver - I agree on where the value is, but I see more value in Douglas Lake gold than in Xtierra but that doesn't seem to be listed on the website but was covered in the last Buchans quarterly report. Xtierra only seems to get a mentioned due to being listed. Significant amounts have been spent there but there doesn't seem to be anyway to realise value.

Looks like they have sold 1.5m DALR shares.

So they have c$4.5m cash including the new placing.

That should keep them going for a while.

So we are worth 30cents a share minimum.

Thats 3 cents pre-consolidation.

So about 1.8p.

However the Canadian fund whose stumped up $2m will want a tad more than that so I reckon an IPO of 50cents would be reasonable.

If this was AIM pre IPO they would want a massive discount so not impossible to get 50cents+

Value is in Dalradian equity and particularly Canadian assets esp Zinc in my view.

Xtierra is worthless - my take

Reviewing the Q3 MD&A not forgetting the loan notes owed to Buchans and Pacific Road Capital Xtierra also need to pay about $2m (depending on currency) this summer to keep Bilbao.

cheers, i've updated the header.

Seems like a reasonable price even allowing for the flow through which usually gives a premium price.

If i'm calculating correctly shareholding are worth more than they (Minco) were prior to the Dalradian offer.

As you very well know the company owns a load of Dalradian stock, numerous other mining assets and some cash, hence the shares have a value, all be it as a private company.

Wouldn’t expect a mining explorer at Buchans stage to have any turnover either, that will come on asset sales.

All fine and a free ride here on in.

Hi yeah I think so. Had message to say I've been credited with them but yet to see them in share dealing account. Hopefully hear something after they make planning permission application. Good luck all.

djb3 that is more of an issue of your broker than Minco/Buchans I suspect.

Had this across three accounts and got them on the allocated date with no issues.

It seems a very strange set up. There is no timeframe for the trading of these shares or who are we going to hear from if minco is wound up.

Halifax Share Trading Ltd have today confirmed that the New Buchan shares have been credited to my account. I look forward to hearing from Minco as to when and how these can be bought or sold.
