Sorry, just been on the company website;

Shareholder Information

Following the capital reorganization on 24 August 2007, the authorised share capital of the Company (£4,500,000) is divided into two classes of share; 90,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each and 90,000,000 non-voting redeemable Deferred Shares of 4p each.

The issued share capital is 73,657,416 Ordinary Shares and 53,657,416 Deferred Shares.

Advfn is rather unreliable.

I can see that Advfn has not updated the info for the placing of 20m shares in September. That makes approx 30m shares at 1.5p, market cap approx £450,000.

Are there other issues not included in the Advfn figures also?

Advfn says market cap is £160,000.
That is 10.8 million shares at 1.5p approx, is this incorrect?

Market cap is just over 1 million pounds, to move the shares we need a 100k profit at the half way stage.

Is anyone expecting a decent set of results for a change?
At the AGM the company stated;
'booked orders for the year currently stand at just over #1.7 million
(FY07: #1 million), including #750,000 despatched, this is 89% of last year's
turnover at the 4 month stage. In addition there are high probability prospects
of over #520,000 (FY07: #500,000).'

With a current market cap of just £160,000, it wouldn't take much to get the share price moving.

Been a few changes to holdings since the above:

A J Eccles 2,187,382 2.97%
P M Grasske 472,000 0.64%
P Vohralik 101,000 0.14%
S M Blank 100,000 0.14%

Thus 3.9% of the company's shares are under the control of the Directors and 96.1% are in public hands. There is one substantial shareholder (shareholding greater than 10%). Details of significant shareholders (shareholding greater than 3%) are given below.

On 30 September 2007, significant shareholdings (excluding pooled client accounts) were:

Northwest Business Investment Scheme 12,665,000 17.2%
David Winton Harding 5,500,000 7.5%
Seighford Investment Company Ltd. 5,133,815 7.0%
James Leek 3,375,000 4.6%
Rensburg Sheppards Investment Management Ltd. 2,850,600 3.9%

You were up early,Its not just the city waiting,so am i.This has been the biggest dog in my pf for some time.It has dropped so much i just keep it to remind myself how easy it is to get things wrong.Still it wasn't a big position so it doesn't hurt much.
When a company can't even sort out transit insurance you do have to doubt their competence,

sg31: New more focused management, getting rid of PS saved the company. Things will move up from here.I feel the city is waiting and watching.

Blackfox,I am pretty sure you are right, they could hardly get worse.Mind you i said the same at 8p and 6p and 4p etc.
Is your feelig one of those "in your water" sort of feelings, blind optimism or sheer desperation.

Can't see how the capital reorg would have worked anyway.....
they wanted to reduce the 5p nom value to 1p by issuing 1 new o share plus one deferred (worthless) share and keep the no of shares in issue the same as now???
Todays rns is good news and the business is flourishing.......£1.7m in defo orders (89% of last years t/o in only 4 months + .5m more in highly probable orders......maybe they have added more since that release on 31st july

Hood (and perhaps other online brokers) killing trade with strict 10k buy/sell limit

Good news that the current uncertainty has been resolved.

YFM seems to have taken out the bank, and not pushed an excessively hard deal with the company re: the placing.

'Cash flow better than forecast' is a rather unspecific.... has the insurance payment been received or are costs lower than expected?

The news has pushed the share price up by c0.5p - which was what I had expected. But, I still think MBK is fully priced until it can demonstrate that it can do business profitably without more unfortunate incidents.

Double6 Why should I, read my post properly I have said that if the new management got it right, that the company has good products and can do well. My concern was with PS and the way he ran the company. Because the shares had a good day means nothing they can fall back just as quickly. Wise move transfering some to ASG.

YFM and the bank will determine the future of the company now, not management.

I believe that MBK's going concern value is probably still higher than those of its assets. Administation will be costly and time-consuming (and hence damaging to the business), so I think, but am not sure, that a deal will be struck.

However, YFM have the power to set the terms for the equity part of the deal. For example, if they want to reset the warrant conversion price to 1p, who is going to say no, given the alternative.
