Midatech (AIM: MTPH, Nasdaq: MTP), the international specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercialising products in oncology, notes that, in connection with its disclosure obligations as a company registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), on 4 May 2018 the Company filed with the SEC a Form 6-K reconfirming that it is unaware of the reason for the recent trading activity in the Company's securities. As previously disclosed, the Company is reviewing a range of options to meet its cash flow needs, including non-dilutive financing and/or other strategic alternatives.
