I think this is a real slow burner. Lock it away for 2 years and you may be very pleasantly surprised. I may top up a few more at these levels.

My 100k purchase at tuppence isn't looking like a lost cause after all.

Impossible to get any stock - I was just lucky that day that when it tanked a few weeks ago.

Now 2.5/3p. and looks like one way traffic.

Sorry to hear about your problems Spiv 1. To paraphrase a Greek Play "Beware of Aussies especially when apparently bearing gifts" I have learnt this the hard way but not with MicroFuse. The only people who would apear to be still in the money are the original F&F in AusLand ,some of whom are still locked in. What will happen when their lock expires is anyones guess but unless some real contracts are signed soon, could well go the way you suggest. (imo & dyor - all cautions apply) The other question is when will any of the institutions who bought at the float decide to cut and run - when (if) they do .............!!

Well the share price performance now is truly aweful. I guess if you are brave and you still believe the story then it could be a fantastic buying opp. I must remnd myself not to invest in concept companies. There's the odd pearl out there for sure but most of them perform terribly. Unless the technology takes off there is usually very little asset backing to prop up the share price. Another Cornhill disaster to add to the list.

MicroFuze International Plc: Interim Results for the Six Months Ended 30 June 2006

Chairman's Statement

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 4, 2006) - MicroFuze International plc (AIM:MFZ) a provider of innovative surface engineering technology, announces its interim results for the period ended 30 June 2006.

Highlights:
- Successful completion of placing
- Senior management and engineering team strengthened
- Engineering team now in place
- First commercial order for chrome diffusion
- Continued development work of Microwave Diffusion Treatment ("MDT") for chrome and boron diffusion
- Investment in "cool plasma" technology
- Net cash position at the end of the period was Pounds Sterling 1.7 million

Since the placing of MicroFuze on 13 February 2006 the Company has made progress with its development and commercial focus. Milestones achieved include the appointment of senior executives needed to provide the required leadership and expertise to direct the Company towards future growth and commercialisation. MicroFuze's first commercial order and investment in new technologies further
demonstrate the Company's focus in commercialising surface engineering solutions using microwaves.

Results Summary

The loss on ordinary activities for the period ended 30 June 2006 was Pounds Sterling 989,000 or 0.66p per share. This loss is inclusive of exceptional items totalling Pounds Sterling 421,000, being Research and Development in respect of ongoing projects. During the period Pounds Sterling 3,010,000 was raised through the issuance of ordinary shares at a cost to the company of Pounds Sterling
445,000. The net cash position of the company as at 30 June 2006 was Pounds Sterling 1,712,000.

As was announced in our trading update of 25 August 2006 the revenues for the financial year ended 31 December 2006 will not meet expectations. This is as a result of delay in the scale up and purchase of a production microwave. As a consequence the Company is continuing to preserve its cash.

MicroFuze sees FY sales, profit below market expectations

LONDON (AFX) - Surface engineering technology group MicroFuze International
PLC warned that it will not achieve market expectations of sales or profit for
the full year end-Dec 2006 and in consequence cash balances at year-end are also
likely to be lower than expected.
This is the result of the delay in the scale-up and purchase of a production
microwave to demonstrate its microwave diffusion technology, it said in a
trading statement.
However, it said it has made progress in the roll-out and commercialisation
of this technology as was announced in its first order from Diffusion
Technologies.
MicroFuze said it remains confident in the successful commercialisation of
the microwave diffusion technology as it works with its customers to provide
solutions for their applications.
Furthermore, MicroFuze is proactively looking to acquire complementary
technologies in order to accelerate sales, gain access to new markets and
strengthen its intellectual property portfolio, it added.

Trading Update

MicroFuze International plc (AIM: MFZ) a provider of innovative surface engineering technology
announces the following trading update.

The Company has made progress in the roll out and commercialisation of its microwave diffusion
technology as was announced in our first order from Diffusion Technologies. However as a result of the
delay in the scale up and purchase of a production microwave your Directors foresee that it will not
now be possible to achieve market expectations of sales or profit for the full year to 31 December
2006 and in consequence cash balances at year end are also likely to be lower than expected.

The Board however remains confident in the successful commercialisation of the microwave diffusion
technology as the Company works with its customers to provide solutions for their applications.
Furthermore, MicroFuze is proactively looking to acquire complementary technologies in order to
accelerate sales, gain access to new markets and strengthen its intellectual property portfolio.

What a great day! Big volume and big share price rise. Finally above the price I paid at float. Looks like the sellers have been cleared. A nice write up somewhere to put this on people's radar and this could really move quickly.

Interesting company / technology and at a pre-hype valuation too. You look at pdx, seo and the like and it would seem that this could be a decent earner even before we see any serious revenue or profits, a few decent sounding RNSs should do. Bit surprised the recent RNS had so little impact in fact, a few more like it should get this one going! Clearly speculative but definately worth a punt IMO.

Agreed Learnt. Its a high risk play and will inevitably either make you a fortune or lose you it! Looks like there are a few sellers around still so I guess we will need more orders before this really takes off. I'm only in for £2000 worth which I got at 10p in the float.

Spiv - my comment about being not totally comfortable about MFZ prospects is to explain why I only wanted 10k shares - not because of it. I wouldn't risk £10k on this. More orders is what I want to see first.
