I phoned the company asked a few questions
1.when will we see the product on the shelves
2.why is the share doing so bad, when the company is to be in profit in the
2 half this year
3.is there any news forth coming

The rep said, he can't answer any of these questions
But that they are in production

suggested I get on to there brokers

I was at the EGM late last year (only shareholder attending). The directors were delighted that I turned up and were most anxious that I make the AGM. An open bunch so should be willing to have a chat.

WB,

I'll still be around here and I'll post any news that I come across. MED are still very much on my watchlist and I'll buy back in if/when things perk up a bit. We need some real orders otherwise this is going nowhere fast...

I've sold quite a lot of my more speculative stuff lately - the markets are brutal at the moment and there's a lot of stock that I'm just not happy holding any more. I'm happier in cash for a few weeks 'cos I'm off to the Cayman islands next week for three weeks of scuba diving and I don't want to be checking the worrying stocks every five minutes...

I don't post much on any boards...

My biggest holding (by a long way) is IND, and I have bought even more of these in the last week and I am happy to hold these without keeping an eye on the chart every five minutes - if you can get these below 800p, then I think you are getting a bargain IMHO.
I also dipped a toe in over at ACE this week - the share price has been severely punished IMO, and there is a lot of upside potential. A bit of a risky punt, but the fundamentals suggest that the price drop is way, way overdone. I'm ready to buy more of these if the price is right and I can get the quantity I am looking for. 40p seems like a bargain price if you can get it - I don't think you will need to wait too long to get a decent return on this, but with the current market doldrums, you might be better off sitting on the sidelines for a little while yet...
I've got a fairly big chunk tied up in SIA - this is in a holding pattern at the moment and I'm fairly heavily comitted, so I won't be topping up for now. It's all waiting on some drilling results from a well in Vietnam, so an investment at this stage would be little more than gambling anyway...

I'm too ashamed to admit most of the other shares that I am holding at the moment - most of them have been hit quite badly over the last few months and I have tried to get rid of the more speculative or debt-ridden stock, because I think we are in for a bit of a rough ride and cash is probably a safer option while the dust settles....

TCM, where might one find you posting over the coming months? That's a polite way of asking where you think there is a better home for cash in the short term - WB

I've sold the last of my stock over the past couple of weeks or so - I'm ready to jump back in if I see a good reason to, but it seems like it is jam tomorrow with this one - there have still been no real announcements of volume orders, and without these, the company is going nowhere. It now seems that the institutions are bailing as well, and with the amount of institutional holdings here, it wouldn't take much dumping of stock to completely trash the share price. I am no longer comfortable holding this, and there are better homes for the cash in the short term IMHO.

Good luck to those that still hold, I'll still be around, and MED is very much still on my RADAR - I will buy back in when there is some good news to support the share price.
