Posting drivel all day everyday about this stock will not
make people buy, it will make people avoid the stock.

And everybody knows hena/treacle/chancer motives, a pump
and dump gone wrong and as normal he refuses to bail so
will average down and keep ramping until any rise then he
will be out in a shot !

Both things together possibly which would be even better. I only say that because the company has been searching for 2 years and came close in September 2007. I can see the company doing a good acquisition/RTO with the backgrounds the directors have and also the links with several external companies.

The absolutely brilliant thing would be if an acquisition is also announced along with the equity investment news. Company has been searching an acquisition for years so it maybe just waiting for the equity investment to be finalised.

Exactly tomboy. Although intially there as you pointed out 0.18p then 1.50p so expecting similar things in MEQ as per CN. also.

andrbea look at AIM. recent holding of mrs deniece. 10 million shares at holding price of 1.5p. one of the directors acquired the stake at 0.18p. so anything is possible with cash shells.

L2 is still 2 v 1. The other 2 MMs on 0.25p offer. IMO this is the low before the news comes.

I think this weeks RNS is a coy move andrbea. Trying to keep the price as low as possible before eventually reverse takeover or acquisition is carried out. Try to please the new investors imo. Although, this weeks RNS does also confirm the possiblity into something happening now imo. The RNS also used the word 'likely' and with more than one interested party the investment could well even end up at higher than the price of 0.26p.

guys sorry off topic atuk. worth a punt. only 700k market capital. raised 200k with directors puting in at least 100k. take a look.

anything can happen with cash shells.

By announcing that the suitor (might) bid at a far lower price (and is it really legal to say such a thing in advance?), the recent fall has made that possible.

So - logically - it should proceed sooner or later (current price is more or less what the suitor would be prepared to pay)


only hope for current shareholders is if the assets of the new company (doing the RTO) are substantially higher than the current mkt cap, and the shares get re-rated accordingly. And the factor of share dilution (if any)

I think because of the currrent directors, background of them, links with Merchant who specialise also in bringing asian companies here, 2 years + searching for an acquisition. Previous interest by Astinway to use this as a vehicle by purchasing and selling at 1p prices this is less than a gamble than most of the cash shells out there. More importantly, because there is no timeframe imposed for an acquisition MEQ is away ahead of everything else for any interested party.

cash shells are a gamble.. more often than not it ends in tears. but you could get lucky as FML. i looked at MEQ some time back, but its certainly not an investment but a gamble..

We should be okay and I think between ourselves and a couple of others we've found good research. Increased my holding before the MMs slapped those just 50,000 shares or 10,000 shares online buy limits that we seen a couple of wks ago. I must say that all those buyers at 0.40-0.55p have held firm. Those 12 million day volumes etc in May.

My Canisp was 0.10-0.15p at the very lows before hitting the highs of 1.70p. AIM was just the same over the last few weeks. Both trying to achieve same as MEQ.

I've increased my holding to 1 million from that initial 250K at the beginning of May.
