From tge same article (link in my previous post).....Elliott has taken a stake in Micro Focus, said the people, who asked not to be named because the transaction is private. The stake is not quite five percent, which is the automatic disclosure threshold, said the people.

Price as got carried away here how many have they bought, over 3% they have to declare, not 5%.
So under 3% and they want to change things, lol not even a seat on the board.

Good long term view Losses.
The share price has also been clouded by the overall Tech sell-off ("adjustment") so it was definitely oversold.
With income I was still profitable at £10.

Anyway, today, 13th is my lucky day as I used to live in a house numbered 13 for a good many years of my life!

Heavily invested around £20.. totally shocker when it went to £9... 60% down.But added loads more around £10 so hoping to atleast recoup the losses in due course.

If I were that smart I wouldn't be here ;-)!

However it has "rebalanced" (reduced... haha) my portfolio exposure from 10% to 4% so a sizeable chunk has gone missing...
I did sell down a few, not many, just after the split last year tho but not near £28.
I should've backed my own thoughts on the Hsu appointment but there you go.

With dividends and payouts I'm above water at least.
Will review the position at £15.... which i may see sooner than I thought.

On the bright side I didn't sell out at sub £9!

Well, the Board effed-up with letting Hsu run the show for a bit.
Maybe Elliott have some better ideas to get the show back on the road because the board lost my credibility over that one.
At least it quickens the re-trace pace.

Anything over 3% they have to declare. So it's under 3%.
