Monty are you LONG or SHORT on this? 2 weeks ago it seemed like you were long but now you seem v bearish talking trash about going out of FTSE. If you are so convinced this will drop out of FTSE 100 why don't you join AQR and WorldQuant and short this and see how it plays out...and when you burn your fingers hope you don't come back on here spouting rubbish again as you wont be able to type lol.

I see on Shortracker.com, bear hedges are back, shorting are AQR Capital 0.52% and WorldQuant 0.70% = 2.44% looks like they started around 24th March.

No chance, I would not mind betting the tracker funds may be thinking like me, before the FTSE 100 reshuffling in May. That Micro could be out of the index.

Companies will only exit the FTSE100 if they get to 110th in market cap rankings.
This is far from being odds on to leave.

I noticed at current price Micro Focus is ranked 102 in the FTSE 100 market cap rankings. If price does not rise then in my view exit from the FTSE100 looks odds on to me. Tracker funds surely they will have to sell.
