As you do in post 3965 by ignoring the chance that there could be a fall in price as a possible outcome. Short term, you're gambling.

But then it's always tricky on results day. Maybe the approach is to buy at open and ride the wave or buy when the froth has evaporated on day 2 and wide the upward curve...

I have them for sometime now, Kainos was another big winner for me, my one I'm waiting for trading update in January is Scisys plc at 118p, hopefully take off like Sopheon.
Micro Focus Monday expecting good results.

Like I said will tread water around 2500p, but after the 8th January looking for onwards to 2750p with a 10% dividend increase.

The market doesn't really like or understand the model. But cash is king here and that's all that counts..

Strange down this amount today, I thought perhaps downgrade or something, but last one I have seen is 28th November Cannacord BUY 2880p target.

Oh ok, Micro Focus shareprice will probable tread water until 8th Jan, then we will see. Hopefully good figures, more important upbeat trading statement going forward, perhaps dividend 20% increase ?

IC just gave a short mention in the news page. No views or tips.

Micro Focus (MCRO) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise have agreed to amend the terms of their merger agreement from 7 September 2016, regarding their nominated directors. John Schultz has been appointed chief legal and administrative officer of HPE, leading both companies to agree that HPE should appoint an independent non-executive to replace John Schultz on the Micro Focus board.

I have not seen the article, but think its tipped in this weeks Investors chronicle.
I will see it tomorrow. As anyone got the article? 3050p for 2018 here we come.

Mr Thomas. yes the divi will be announced in the results. The last interim divi was in Dec. 2016 at 29.73p but that was a special because of the merger.

Previous interim divis were around 16/17P but next one is anyone's guess.

Nice Sp movement so far today,hopefully more to come in new year.

I see Micro has bought another company just before the New years results! No mention how much was paid or on what terms but has had little effect on the share price so far.

Let's hope that the Results get a better reception than IQE today!
