19/2/2021 13:37 | hxxps://db-engines.c Someone has compiled a side by side comparison of vertica and snowflake. FYI snowflake is currently valued at 82 billion dollars in the US markets... | jw330
19/2/2021 12:42 | Yes, as we approach 11 March we may see support with buying in order to get 11.3p dividend. Payable in April. | ttny2004
19/2/2021 11:51 | Good idea. I added too early... | brucie5

19/2/2021 10:29 | Brucie what I will say is that assumption mostly holds true over the last 17 years but is not a fact:- Ex-Dividend Date Pay Date Amount Type Upcoming 11th March 2021 15th April 2021 11.30p Interim Historical 5th September 2019 30th September 2019 46.66p Final 28th February 2019 5th April 2019 45.22p Interim 2nd August 2018 24th August 2018 $0.58 Final 18th January 2018 9th February 2018 $0.35 Interim 3rd August 2017 25th August 2017 45.22p Final 5th January 2017 27th January 2017 23.60p Interim 1st September 2016 7th October 2016 37.40p Final 31st December 2015 22nd January 2016 11.29p Interim 3rd September 2015 2nd October 2015 $0.33 Final 2nd January 2015 23rd January 2015 $0.15 Interim 3rd September 2014 3rd October 2014 $0.30 Final 31st December 2013 24th January 2014 $0.14 Interim 4th September 2013 2nd October 2013 $0.29 Final 2nd January 2013 25th January 2013 $0.12 Interim 29th August 2012 2nd October 2012 $0.24 Final 4th January 2012 27th January 2012 $0.08 Interim 31st August 2011 28th September 2011 $0.17 Final 5th January 2011 28th January 2011 $0.07 Interim 1st September 2010 28th September 2010 $0.17 Final 30th December 2009 29th January 2010 $0.06 Interim 2nd September 2009 28th September 2009 $0.11 Final 31st December 2008 30th January 2009 $0.05 Interim 3rd September 2008 29th September 2008 $0.10 Final 2nd January 2008 31st January 2008 $0.04 Interim 5th September 2007 1st October 2007 $0.07 Final 3rd January 2007 31st January 2007 $0.03 Interim 6th September 2006 2nd October 2006 $0.04 Final 4th January 2006 31st January 2006 $0.02 Interim | markbelluk
19/2/2021 10:20 | Brucie, the p/e is currently about 1.7 and absurdly low, priced as though it was going broke, for a business generating over a billion dollars a year in profit and free cash flow during a pandemic year and paying a dividend of maybe 5%. | itisonlymoney
19/2/2021 10:11 | "Given the final is always at least double the interim @ 11.3p assuming 22.6 final give totals 33.9." This would indeed give about 8% on today's price, but is it a safe assumption? | brucie5
19/2/2021 09:45 | I get... Given the final is always at least the interim @ 11.3p assuming 22.6 final give totals 33.9 33.9/422 = 8% For holder @ 300 share price = 11.3% PS for a private equity given FCF x6 -10 you would be looking at a share price double plus of this? | markbelluk
19/2/2021 09:45 | I get... Given the final is always at least double the interim @ 11.3p assuming 22.6 final give totals 33.9 33.9/422 = 8% For holder @ 300 share price = 11.3% PS for a private equity given FCF x6 -10 you would be looking at a share price double plus of this? | markbelluk
19/2/2021 09:10 | Dividend on Stocko now showing as 5.99%. It seems to go and and down like the proverbial. Greater question might be, with current divi 5 times covered, how might the payouts rise if the recovery plan works? Stocko shows PE of 4.1. That is, prima facie, cheap. | brucie5
19/2/2021 09:07 | I make it 5% at 22p total year's divi on £4.20. Where do you get 15% from? 5% isn't bad, but am just curious, can you not count or am I missing something? | itisonlymoney
19/2/2021 08:17 | MCRO and the mystery of the ever decreasing share price......our yield is going through the roof. My average cost is just over 300p and with the plan to give dividends covered 5 times by earnings the present dividend of 15c (say 30c full year) could be over two times the size. That is a 15% yield on todays price and even higher on my historical cost. Ridiculous. Buying more Monday. | purchaseatthetop
18/2/2021 21:15 | Jw330 - totally agree | ttny2004
18/2/2021 20:33 | markbell I hope they don't get bought out, LTH would do better if business turns around and manages to increase their dividends in the future | jw330
18/2/2021 14:40 | Just read it and echo their thoughts 100% on the outcomes, even if their analysis is a little off key (though would prefer option 1). ;-) | dr knowledge
18/2/2021 13:32 | Good article in AJ Bell ..MCRO named as one of 3 overlooked stocks to BUY Summary ""Either shares rerate (ongoing turnaround) or get bought out by private equity" | markbelluk
18/2/2021 09:26 | You could attribute the reason for this consistent fall to a large seller - once out hopefully the price will mount some form of recovery. 540 down to 430 amounts to no less than 20%. Anyway, I’m in for a few, hopefully onwards and upwards. | davidbennett
17/2/2021 19:07 | sceptical....very red day for me. Only blue was SAGA. Never mind. Tomorrow is another day! | purchaseatthetop |
