Will B&Q recruit Paul, or will they say he has no practical knowledge of things?

If you would ask people that in you're real name, it would be a miracle

Drew were you born an online bully, or did getting raped by a Cane Corso at 7 years of age bring it on ?

I’ve been telling you all along Paul that as the cost-of-living increases it will mean loan defaults. It will also mean that fewer new loans get written. Look up Stagflation, you silly little girl. It’s a lose/lose situation for banks. Oh, and then there’s the mortgage books…

US Fed raises interest rates by 75 bps the biggest single rise in over 30 years increasing their base rate from 1% to 1.75% overnight, nearly doubling it, with more rate rises to come!

Bank of England will raise rates today by ?...50 bps or 75 bps.

Base rate currently at 1%. Historical long term average interest rate pre 2008 and Quantitative Easing i.e. printing money was 3.5%.

ECB in emergency discussions and likely to follow suite with steep interest rate rises.

Banks benefit hugely by increasining spread in Net Interest Margin (NIM) which is straight profit..A 75 bps rise would be circa £120m on £16 billion of loans.

If base rate goes to 1.75% that's £280m of profit for Metro Bank per year every year!

Admittedly some are fixed rate loans but thats still a huge long term boost to Metro Banks bottom line and profit.

Metro Bank heading back into profit H2 this year...

The flea bitten dog bites back...😊
