Best to check where those US banks are relative to day before reports, for an even bigger market clue

"Barclays, Lloyds Banking and NatWest all report after their US counterparts provided clues on what to expect having reported earlier this month. In particular, there could be further large releases of impairment provisions as economic recovery has proved stronger than expected, lessening the levels of bad debts. For those with an investment banking operation, there could also be a further boost to earnings given the heightened levels of M&A activity and IPOs. In any event, given that the banks are each strongly capitalised going into the numbers, strong earnings could prompt further dividend increases, particularly with the regulatory shackles having been lifted.

Please do your own research as always.

Not one muppet posting this morning tells a story too.
They know it’s coming and are stuck awaiting the announcement of a dilution.

Well smartie, they deserve it re bank buyers

US 500 banks made brilliant results announcements (on the face of it), yet closed red

So i do not know what they expect uk banks to be doing post results. But it should be obvious

Anyway look at etf markets. Funds dumping them out on nearly every bounce

There’s going to be a significant number of unhappy people invested in banks this week who are expecting gains but more than likely faced with losses, no?

Likelihood more stimulus going to be required as delta takes hold? Look at the U.K. being conned that now reducing. Everyone I know who’s had two jabs have caught delta.

PI never sick of it on the whole

When one batch of PI's feel like they cant take anymore, another batch find value in it at lower prices

I choose not to get involved with Cineworld and now Metro Bank also added to that list.
As I said last week, something not right here, no?
