The HC posters are saying that we have 30% of LC, but from my understanding we still own 49% of LC, until such time as CD capital complete the second and then third instalments, or am I reading this incorrectly?

So should CD capital decide to quickly flip the asset, BEFORE they take up the 2nd & 3rd instalments, we still own 49% of LC. Not saying this would happen. But in my view the HC posters are getting ahead of themselves when they say that we only own 30% of LC, currently we own 49% of the asset, or am I wrong!?

....CD Capital has committed to invest US$16 million for a 51% interest in LCH which indirectly owns 100% of Los Calatos. With two subsequent investments of US$14.5 million each, the CD Capital equity position in LCH would increase to 65% and 70% respectively. Metminco will hold its interest in LCH indirectly through Hampton Mining Pty Ltd.

The Company will immediately commence work on the Pre-Feasibility Study, focussing initially on upgrading the existing Inferred Mineral Resources to Measured and Indicated status, expanding the existing resources (including further drilling at the TD 2 and TD 3 targets), completion of Phase 2 metallurgical testwork (including testing with sea water), and certain permitting.

Carmel Daniele, the Chief Investment Officer of CD Capital commented:

"CD Capital is excited to be investing in and acquiring 51% of the world class Los Calatos Copper Project in Peru. We consider the project to be a unique opportunity to develop a large scale copper mine. We intend to maximise its value by expanding the resource and completing required permitting steps. We look forward to working closely with the current operational team, government authorities, local communities and other stakeholders."

Because nobody trusts the directors anymore and I would imagine that quite a few of us are sitting on worthless warrants at almost double the current share price

Posted on another board, may be of interest to some holders here.I have emailed
but as yet have not had a reply.Hopefully the author won't mind me posting.

There is going to be an opportunity for all investors in MNC to take part in a questions & answers session via a Skype call with William Howe and possibly Steve Tainton. This is a rare opportunity for UK investors to have some dialog with the board and get your feelings across. All participants have to be shareholders and this may need to be proved. It's no good us all moaning on BB's this is your chance to have your say.

Have written these off, this is not a promising Copper play now, can't even utilise the loss against CGT as held in ISA.
Instinct tells me we will be diluted to oblivion in future fund raisings, ensuing shareholder value destruction is the likely endgame, worn the t shirt etc.

Definitely the placing. I think they have traded the same amount for a quick profit and have the same amount of shares as before.

Just an observation / thought.
Most comments around the boards, seem to be of the opinion, that the 'target' for the buyer is the 422 million share placing.
My question / observation is =
What is the 'situation', should the 'buying' continue after the 422 mill has been passed ???
Something is afoot - that's for sure.

interesting trades this morning....

Anyone got an opinion on this?

Someone buying into MNC? Or just part of the recent placing?...

plenty of trading going on today.

A better placing price....basically at a premium like SOLG and MARL have been pulling of would have been preferable, that is an understatement....

Cheers count, was fairly good. But dissapointed when they discussed ii's at the end, and getting them back, he didn't ask him what he was doing about.
