Dumped all my holding after careful consideration. The Los Calatos funding "deal" is utterly stupid: give away the asset to a new "no guarantee of sufficient funding" company in return for nothing but a 30% holding in what is essentially another explorer yet to achieve a cash producing mine. What do shareholders gain from that, even long term? The BoD on the other get to keep their paycheck and no doubt "negotiate" a similar disaster for Miraflores since that project is also yet to be funded. Not on my nickel.

An awful stock - yes. An awful management - yes. But an awful piece of stock?

The use of the word piece would indicate it is no longer a complete stock - or there is only a part of it which is awful.

looks like 0.16 support is gone, that fell hard this morning, what price will placing be at, they will want a discount, bad management, they could have got one away friday or monday in the 20's

still have a short on this jack, will close it after placing for gold mine, can see a placing at 0.17, so 0.14 close looks abt right here, no point in going long here now, or in the future, this will be taken private imo, watch for large holder to take a cheap position in placing and then turn the screw with loans to company for shares, main asset is gone, that 30% left will never get to shareholders imo, this is now a dead duck bud, asx down -25%, test of 0.16 today, if that dont hold then expect 0.14 v 0.16 on the books, and placing lower then i thought, best to walk away from this one, put it down to experience and a savior of the pump after asx suspension that saved the day for loads of peeps. those that sold friday or monday were sensible, those that went with the gamble were gamblers

This deal must be stopped.

The assets of company A move to company B - the management move with the asset. The shareholders of company A get 30 % of company B but not a penny. The BoD of company B then dilute the shareholding of company A buy injecting 'working capital' into company B. What's next? Sorry but this 'deal' must not go ahead. Los Calatos is being taken from under our noses and we are going to get nothing.

yeah changed my mind about bottom drawing the rest last week and sold half of the half I kept then sold the last lot Monday. Just felt price was rising too much before firm news of deal / buy rumour, sell fact and all that. Miraculously came out with an extremely marginal profit! Not even enough to pay for the time I spent on it but better things out there and might chuck a grand back in after inevitable placing for the colombian working cap and inevitable price fall post consolidation.

Would you ever consider getting back in if cap low enough?
