17/4/2018 08:08 | pp21 At steady state how many oz per year are expected to be produced? TIA. | sleveen
17/4/2018 07:25 | There seems to be a lot more interest in buying here of late. A market cap of only 72M pounds, seems cheap now to me. They have had problems over the last year getting things to run the way they should. Any sign in this next q1 update in a few days time of these problems being sorted out and this will move north very fast. imo | peterpowell21
17/4/2018 06:59 | jailbird I agree that the last few loans have been from the main holders at a very high interest rate. As the two main holders would you want to take shares at a discount that would then discount all the other shares they hold, or put up the same money at a interest rate of 20%.They have the intelligence to know whats best for them. Also a year after that Non Executive Director resigned you think he is now going to sell? But your post is misleading on its dates also, he bought those shares in jan 2017 not in 2016. You also neglect to point out he said this on leaving, due to a need to devote more time developing another business interest. "Jeremy remains a supportive shareholder of the Company" Now he bought these shares at 4.75p. Now you might have sold at a loss but i doubt he has. | peterpowell21
16/4/2018 21:08 | Large share price gains coming soon IMO Smell the coffee Improved operational performance Improving gold production Higher gold price Director buys Suggestions of debt re-scheduling Increasing buy side volume Supportive major shareholders News imminent | broken_arrow1
16/4/2018 21:02 | Its doubtful if you did a bit more research jailbird you would see that Ayre was the co-founder of AWR Lloyd and co-founder of Genus Capital Fund with Baker Steel in 2008 which led to the listing of Baker Steel Resources Trust in 2010, the same fund that currently has 6.67% of its portfolio in mtl, just over 137million shares. I understand that you previously held shares in mtl and sold at a loss after your outlook changed but maybe its time to just move on as the buy volumes over the past few days would seem to suggest the majority have a slightly different viewpoint than your own. | achillesheel
16/4/2018 20:32 | Jailbird, Are you telling me HZM directors have not bought shares in their company at more than 2p!!!!!!!!!!! | giantpeach2
16/4/2018 19:34 | Remember this director buy in 2016 Director's Share Dealing The Company received notification that Mr. Jeremy Ayre, Non Executive Director of Metals Exploration plc, acquired 2,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 4.75 pence per Ordinary Share on 29 March 2016 and again The Company received notification that Mr. Jeremy Ayre, Non Executive Director of Metals Exploration plc, acquired 5,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 5.00 pence per Ordinary Share on 9 January 2017 and the he resigned Director Resignation Metals Exploration announces the resignation of Mr Jeremy Ayre as of Friday 7 April 2017 from his position as a non-executive director of Metals Exploration plc, So will he dump his holdings at some point now? | jailbird
16/4/2018 19:27 | I am always wary of director's buys when financing is required. I am not sure of the vehicle that will used. 20% on current debt $2m lending just shows how high risk the lenders are seeing the Co. You must look at the reason that is. Total interest bearing liabilities as at 31 December 2017 were US $89.80 million! I look at the market cap of the Co not the share price... Market can over or underprice a share..current value is to high for me. Way too early to talk about the Co throwing off cash... Need to see one whole year of stable production. | jailbird
16/4/2018 11:43 | Well there are not many shares in free float anyway. But even if these don't go up on this last Q1 update, at this price they are worth buying at this price for the long term. | peterpowell21
16/4/2018 11:00 | Wow just look at all those buys!! | giantpeach2
16/4/2018 10:25 | Nothing available on-line, breakout coming. | broken_arrow1
16/4/2018 09:07 | I don't think they have made a profit still in Q1. But they will show a much improved quarter and improving gold recovery. imo | peterpowell21
16/4/2018 09:02 | jailbird why would directors buy if they knew there was a cash call coming? More likely they can see things have and are improving so getting in at these low prices. A lot of investors won't buy into companies until they see news that things are improving. Well the news we have been given of late read to me that things had began to improve. With two directors buying in the last week only confirms my opinion. Go on jailbird, try and admit this is good news. It won't hurt you as you are neither long or short. | peterpowell21
16/4/2018 08:52 | This is going far higher very soon, about to break out, recent director buying & some chunky trades Looks like they may have re-financed the debt as well as increasing gold production combined with a high gold price. Could it get back to 8p-10p+ I think so | broken_arrow1
16/4/2018 08:50 | Q1 update due in April. Probably that IMV. | sleveen
16/4/2018 06:55 | Interesting Reason behind these buysGood news or cash call ? | jailbird
16/4/2018 06:51 | more directors buys. Lovely. | peterpowell21
13/4/2018 15:15 | brocken arrow If you look you at the info we have been given you can see this has turned a corner this last quarter.Still a long way to go, but getting there. | peterpowell21
12/4/2018 13:48 | Cannot buy online. Some chunky trades going through following the recent director buy, trading update due, insiders buying IMO before positive news. Shares will go ballistic if they re-structure debt combined with improving production + higher gold price. Not long to wait. | broken_arrow1
10/4/2018 11:27 | Jailbird I have taken a look at AAZ, Nowhere near as good as this should turn out. Once this starts to get its act together it will be a money cow. Good luck with your investment there though. | peterpowell21
10/4/2018 09:39 | We won't have long to wait to see how Q1 has gone. they said they had $500,000 in the bank on 31 Dec, They also now have a $2m standby loan. Looking at the cash balance at the start of Q4, $7.2m and the balance at the end $500,000, then i would say things have improved no end in Q1. As they started the Quarter of with just $500,000 and have managed to go through the quarter without having to get a further loan only the standby loan at the end of the quarter. | peterpowell21
09/4/2018 21:45 | Recovery play - director buys £26k worth, above 5p soon | broken_arrow1
09/4/2018 20:57 | Oh and you have little credibility with the poo poo you have writing here for the last 18 months ... all failed to materialize upto now | jailbird
09/4/2018 20:55 | Have a look at AAZ ... producing near to 70,000oz + / year and on a lower mkt cap , and low debtThis is consistent production MTL is overpriced and yet to deliver even one quarter without issues It does not warrant a higher mkt cap yet for some time Just my opinion .. | jailbird
09/4/2018 20:29 | Well I have more faith in the director who has purchased 715,000 shares at 3.75p. He seems to know more than you jailbird. Name me another gold stock of better value. I suggest you return to jail and do not pass Go! | wiseacre |
