Pierpaolo Rocco is still CEO of BritNRG

Pierpaolo Rocco is the only executive director of BritNRG according to the website.

He must be doing it all by himself, assuming he's even there.

Not a word from Rolf about whether Rocco is working his notice at MNRG, or if he's also resigned from BritNRG which is a nominal subsidiary.

Rolf bought 3.5m of these babies at 0.54p average a while back.

He's looking a bit silly right now, he's down 25%.

Mind you 3.5m shares is buttons now we've got a confetti machine.

Stop diluting the shares and maybe they'll appreciate in value.

The intention is for BritNRG to get its own listing "within 18 months" but since the Sunswept acquisition was only ever supposed to be a stepping stone over high barriers to entry, so now that appears to be achieved maybe they'll announce a further acquisition in the UK oil and gas sector very soon.

Also, Gold Ridge is due to report progress in 4-6 weeks, by end of November.

Meanwhile, the uranium assets acquired from Eurasia mining could awake out of the blue.

The EQT deal looks positive for fy 22/23 too.

With the share price now at a 15 month low now seems like a good time to take a chance.

Rolf Gerritsen, CEO of MetalNRG, commented:"I am extremely pleased with the outcome and would like to thank Pierpaolo Rocco for his hard work in leading the transaction to a successful conclusion and I welcome the opportunity to work with the private investors who are our partners in this venture. Now that we have operational control of the assets the real work can commence and both Pierpaolo and I look forward to updating the market on BritNRG's progress over the next few months as we develop the potential upside of the assets."Just states "private investors"

So mnrg own 50% of BritNRG, and have an option to acquire another 15% for half a million quid+.

Who owns the other 50% and who has control?

ive been trying to understand the ownership structure of BritNRG and what exactly MNRG own and control, and what the recent option agreement means in relation to BritNRG gaining its own listing on a recognised stock exchange.

there does seem to be some very complex arrangements here, particularly with BritNRG, and i wonder if that entity is about to be sold, hence the resignation today of Pierpaolo Rocco who would obviously have conflicting interests if he were on both boards.

i have never liked the BritNRG transaction, because it detracts from the green credentials on MNRG making us a leper in the eyes of corporate financiers.

Mind you, gold ridge isnt exactly a green project either.

Mr S increased to 7% from 6.75 and Mrs S still 3% one assumes.Probably took advantage of today's drop after Pierpaolo Rocco left MNRG board. Is he still CEO of BritNRG though?Needs clarification

Yes. Abrupt RNS. Unusual. Perhaps suggests that Rolf isn't particularly impressed by Paula's resignation, or maybe it's strategic?

An acquisition by BritNRG was previously mentioned in last month's video interview, so maybe Paula has done something terrible and upset Rolf.

BritNRG was supposed to be soon reporting on both production and organic growth of our projects, as well as a possible acquisition to supplement the company.

"We have cards up our sleeve" said Rolf.

Also, the idea of acquiring Sunswept was to get industry accreditation, overcome high "barriers to entry" and to pave the way to acquiring a much bigger entity.

With Paula resigning from MNRG but remaining as CEO of BritNRG what does that tell us?

Paula is still CEO of BritNRG.

Seems to suggest that BritNRG is being sold or divested in some way.

When a director resigns there is usually a reason, and while simply reporting the event may comply with the rules I think it is wholly inadequate from a shareholders perspective.

In the last video interview Paulo had mic problems, didn't perform very well, and Rolf interjected and dominated.

Worth watching it again armed with the Paula resignation in mind.
