no, the academic evidence is extensive Google the share price impact of consolidations on canadian junior explorers shares opportunity for stale bulls to sell and for small holders to exit

I’m not so sure on the “marketability “ argument from Mtr, But the mgt team so far have rarely put a foot wrong with any of their decisions to date. And they have some high quality investments. The Ex-mod resources NSR with sandfire , assuming sandfire can prove up the size of copper estimates in the kalahari area that matches or exceeds T3, will demonstrate that the NSR over the lifetime of any future copper mines out there is likely to dwarf the current mkt cap of mtr, easily. And don’t forget that they have similar NSR’s with kalahari metals and cobre. Mtr are positioning themselves very very nicely to do a riNse and repeat of their mod investment with these companies. I could see in maybe 3 years time someone like sandfire bidding for each of these companies..... Michael M once said to me that he and the board have big plans for the company, and I think they have a very good chance of delivering on that.. L

BP let’s see what happens when the inferred resource on A4 is declared and a tangible £ value given to the 2% NSR!

Consolidation always a good thing for stocks trading at ultra low sps. Tends to rid us of the amateurs who love holding hundreds of thousands shares, even millions of shares.

So your evidence is 0.5p reduction in share price in 2 hours on 127000 share trades. So that's about 1.5p a day so in three weeks we are at 0p. I'm not sure that holds water but let's see at the end of July!

The share price will be driven by fundamentals, not because we have consolidated. I am hoping for update from SFR this month. From the sat images they are drilling A4 and a new area NE to a4 ( which is being drilled rapidly). The NSR value for MTR will dwarf the current mcap. We await maiden resource.

Think it’s a bit premature to start criticising given that most people can’t trade . IG can’t trade , II my holdings have completely disappeared.

So much for the tighter spreads on consolidation. Now a 2p spread or just under 10%. Pointless!

Actually don't bother, your 23.5p prediction is equivalent to roughly a 2.5 bagger from when you said this company was 'a disaster' a few weeks ago. Well done!

Tomorrow should be an interesting day, another advantage is the total number of shares are vastly reduced

Metal Tiger also said it is proposing a share consolidation of ten shares into one, as its board believes that a share price quoted in single pence affects investor perception and volatility and a higher share price will improve both of these. Consolidates tomorrow 1 July 2020.

The reason for yesterday's jump & follow through today was a re-tip by Simon Thompson in IC Online.

Another RNS Michael McNeilly, Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger, commented: "Today's results from Southern Gold's Aphae project are very encouraging and suggest a larger potential to the North of the project, surpassing expectations. We look forward to the results of further testing and the beginning of the fourth hole now planned there."

METAL TIGER PLC: Kalahari Metals Limited: Project Update 16/06/2020 3:58pm UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Metal Tiger (LSE:MTR) Intraday Stock Chart Tuesday 16 June 2020 Click Here for more Metal Tiger Charts.TIDMMTR 16 June 2020 Metal Tiger plc ("Metal Tiger" or the "Company") Kalahari Metals Limited: Project Update Metal Tiger plc (AIM: MTR), the London Stock Exchange AIM listed investor in natural resource opportunities, is pleased to provide an update in respect of the Botswana copper focused explorer, Kalahari Metals Limited ("KML"), in which Metal Tiger has a 62.2% equity interest. KML is preparing to recommence drilling at the Kitlanya East ("KIT-E") Project by the end of June, as Botswana is now starting to gradually relax COVID-19 national lockdown restrictions. The KIT-E drilling programme, which is testing geological contacts and structures prospective for hosting copper-silver mineralisation (announced on 9 March 2020), had to be temporarily suspended on 2 April 2020 in compliance with COVID-19 related emergency legislation. During the lockdown period, KML has taken the opportunity to re-model and interpret available data over the KIT-E property alongside the preliminary drilling results. Key findings from this assessment have refined follow-on drilling targets and shown there are many similarities with the geological setting of the neighbouring Sandfire Resources T3 and A4 deposits. Michael McNeilly, Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger, commented: "We are pleased to report that KML is planning to recommence the diamond drilling programme at their Kitlanya East Project on the Kalahari Copper Belt, by the end of the month, as the Botswana government gradually relaxes COVID-19 related lockdown restrictions. Whilst site work had to go on hold, KML has taken the opportunity to incorporate the preliminary drilling datasets into the geophysical, remote sensing and geochemical models, updating and fine tuning the target interpretation that shows strong geological similarities with the neighbouring Sandfire Resources deposits."
