I think its too early to speculate about grades, pre assay nobody knows, just know visible is very good and keep fingers crossed, I think it is a good time to swap the jv interest for a firm stake in mod, if there is a takeover bid will be in a better position with shares in mod rather than a jv ?

Right, I am hearing that these grades are expected to be well beyond all expectations 4-8% copper, lower end being almost a cert with mid range anticipated and higher range hopeful.

Personally be happy with anything above 1%, but if what I’m hearing gets confirmed over next few trading days in reality, prepare for the roof be lifted of here as we should before then get confirmation of copper at other drilling.

Just remember small pi are last ones to know and majority get a very bad deal. Only 1 in 10 has the courage to hold and walk away when going gets tough. These sharks are no mugs and have been in the know for a long time. You lot think Mr Rick is a mug punter? Certainly its the small punters that are Mugs. 6p and most will think 100% we made and be over the Moon. I am really excited as i am in the hope the board has the guts to turn down the incoming hostile takeover of 30%.

So, are we going to get past this 3p or are the market makers under special instructions not to let it go past 3p. Few years back i attended the Mines and Money conference in London , where i met various big dogs of the industry , certainly one thing i learnt is to get in early and hold hold hold. Sources tell me at 6pm BST the background work is moving to the next stage, certainly this gets me very nervous but very twitchy as well. Last time this happened MARL was taken out by a bid and SOLG went from 3p to 40p. I honestly cant see the share price moving much but hope i am wrong as you lot know what happens next.

From hotcopper......

Really liked that news release today.

The reference to "stockwork" veining I thought was very intriguing. In the corresponding Metal tiger release, their CEO highlighted it, and made reference to it being “a style previously unseen by the JV drilling.”

If you go with a generic definition for "stockwork" such as that of AGI Glossary of Geology (Jackson and Bates, 1968) a "stockwork is a mineral deposit consisting of a three-dimensional network of planar to irregular veinlets, closely enough spaced that the whole mass can be mined." - then on a general level that sounds like a general description of the T3 deposit. But they’ve previously characterised the T3 deposit as “sheeted-veins” or “stacked veins” associated with the thrust-fault, on the northern side of the dome. So Metal Tiger highlighting that it is different style is significant imo: perhaps we’re seeing a new type of deposit here – the sheeted vein deposits on the northern sides of the domes a la T3, and this new type of stockwork deposit on the southern sides of the domes?

I’ve seen the term “stockworkR21; used a lot to describe the veining/mineralisation in copper porphyry systems where the fractures form above an intrusion, but I think the principle is the same here, where the sediments have presumably been extensively fractured due to the stresses involved in folding and then the hydrothermal fluids have filled the fractures creating the mineralisation. Given the stresses would have been regional in scale, it could point to an extensive strike-length. Have to wait and see whether that is the case. The fact they’re referring to “stockworkR21; to me suggests to me that it’s a pretty dense network of veins, which bodes well for grade, and the fact they’re drilling to the north and south of it (whereas they haven’t with the first hole in A4) suggests they like the look of it.

This could easily be one of those shares that you think you've done well if you make a 100 - 200%....but you may well kick yourself very very hard if you sell up to early....

some imagination required here on just how much this could be worth in the not to distant future....IMO

Trading is similar to MARL .....3p ...3p...3p. Not going to add anything else that I already have added. Some experts might think its resistance at 3p but I beg to differ. I am getting very twitchy and the reasons are obvious.

Sounds like it might shape into a province, as the Aussies call it. Heard Jacques mention that at a presentation earlier in the year.

This is massive, much bigger than SOLG. No wonder CEO of another major have been going round like predators. They know how big this will become, so get in early. Add 2 and 2 and you see where I am coming from.

They are hitting high grade ore with every exploration hole they drill, they have a load of copper and the scale of it will bring in the big boys and associated infrastructure, cuprics project alone will bring grid electricity close by and there will be a lot of synergy which will make savings above and beyond the current plan, this will end up a major network of large mines

The visible copper was seen last week. AS I stated, so they decided to RNS it, guess its the right thing.

Expect the 6p offer to come very soon. Then I will need you to say sorry to me on this site.

I have initial bid of 6p in mind at a premium of 100% to closing price if the bid arrives with in this month. All depends how " you scratch my back and i scratch your back" is going on and i certainly know by the trading pattern that is the case. Thats in my opinion. Board rejects the bid and you certainly are looking at 10p plus but the bid will be in such a way it be hard to turn it down. You offer incentives to the current directors and being part of the big fish will make it hard for any offer at the second attempt to turn down. I certainly hope shareholders gdt a good deal.

It is no longer about whats in the ground and what Assay results come up. Currently its all about how fast and cheaply a major can obtain the 30% MTR stack in MOD. Expect a bid very soon . I know i keep going on about this but a lot of background work is going on and few CEOs are in the know with each other. Those of you that remember when SOLG was trading at 3p, i mentioned the CEO of SOLG was in talks in the background. Few months later SOLG was over 20p. I give it up to 6 months.
