28/9/2012 13:30 | It needs your signature. | battlebus2
28/9/2012 13:24 | why would you fill them out, I just instruct my broker to do it. Ive kept 10% of my shares and tendered 90% | pomp circumstance
28/9/2012 13:14 | Yeah i had the same problem and the form was returned. Thought it was just stupid old me lol. | battlebus2
28/9/2012 13:13 | I bet they got a lot of duff forms returned - I hold shares through 2 separate brokers and I insisted both told me how to complete the forms so I didn't risk losing 30% tax... both checked with registrars and yet still came back with slightly different answers! [eg. signing the first page!] | luckyjonah
28/9/2012 12:59 | No date was given for payment was it? Could be just clerical or they want a few more to tender. | battlebus2
28/9/2012 12:43 | does this mean we have to wait longer to get the money? | zangdook
23/9/2012 12:37 | My letter has given me a response date of 24 Sept 5.00pm. | yewtrees
20/9/2012 12:56 | OK. Received my letter detailing action needed today. | yewtrees
19/9/2012 22:33 | 31.2p at today's USD rate | zangdook
19/9/2012 18:05 | What news are you expecting? The tender needs to be in by 28th for 32.1p other wise you will be holding off market. | battlebus2
19/9/2012 16:49 | Any news anyone? Not sure what to do with my shareholding. | yewtrees
07/9/2012 08:56 | I've emailed TDW because I'd heard nothing from them and there's nothing on their website. I'll post whatever answer I get. | soggy
06/9/2012 17:28 | Zangdook i hold some with HL as well and they are getting back to me with the forms in a day or two. Email them if your worried. 28th is the cut off so plenty of time yet. | battlebus2
06/9/2012 15:13 | So... heard back from Selftrade/Equiniti who have said that I must complete the *DI Form* for tax status - apparently the shares in my nominee account are held as DIs. | luckyjonah
06/9/2012 14:45 | battlebus - do you mean Hargreaves Lansdown? If so, did they send you the forms by email or post? I've had nothing and there's nothing on the Corporate Actions page of their website. thx | zangdook
06/9/2012 14:21 | Lucky jonah i had to fill in the tax form not the DI as Hargreaves had filled it in. | battlebus2
06/9/2012 14:14 | Thanks battlebus. Pomp, no mention from them of filling in the tax form? | luckyjonah
06/9/2012 14:08 | Redmayne Bentey, toldf em to accept for 90% of my shares, gonna run 10% | pomp circumstance
06/9/2012 14:03 | Hargreave nominee. | battlebus2
06/9/2012 13:59 | Yes. Who are yours held with? | luckyjonah
06/9/2012 13:50 | Are you a nominee account holder? | battlebus2
06/9/2012 13:48 | I think you might be missing my point battlebus - Selftrade have indeed been in contact and have said "fill in the form or you'll have the tax deducted"... but they can't tell me which tax form I have to complete (presumably as I'm neither certificated or depository interest holder!). | luckyjonah
06/9/2012 13:02 | Luckyjonah i have already filled in a form just to say what amount to tender, your broker/nominee will contact you. Its called metal tech DI form (depository interest only) and a declaration form for Isreali tax status. | battlebus2
06/9/2012 12:55 | Has anyone else spoken to their brokers about the tender yet? FWIW Selftrade seem to think you have to complete a form, but unfortunately they don't seem to know which form. I'm waiting for them to come back to me. Dowgate also not sure what is needed, they too are coming back to me later. Anyone else found out anything? [Can't say I'm 100% clear on what "Depository Interests" are, I thought they were like ADRs and different from holding shares electronically in a nominee account like most UK shareholders probably do! And the one thing they don't mention in all those tender offer docs is what to do if that's your situation...!] | luckyjonah
04/9/2012 08:40 | The only risk is the exchange rate as the tender is priced in $US. But yes, they do seem a bit slow sometimes with these obscure stocks. | zangdook |
