No interest. Yawn. This is NOT a telecom or IT company. It makes money. Boring.Dull. Ignore it.

ps - Doesn't that chart above show the price hitting new highs day in, day out? I must be making loads then? Surely not. No interest. Yawn.

Someone believes the AGM will be very positive on Thursday - 25K bought at 79p.

Chart breakout too :-)

Well,I have been saying this for 2 months now... but very few are interested in Merrydown on ADVFN. Their loss.

Chart actually shows a pennant formation so a big breakout likely.

I bought a big wadge yesterday in advance of the AGM this Thurs.

The full year results don't give a fair picture.

These lost 0.91p in in H1, they made over 5p in H2.

If you annualised that you'd be on a PE of 7 but the sheer pace of earnings growth suggests far better than 10p for the year ahead.

I'd expect the management to be singing at the AGM.

What a bid target too - all these drinks companies trying to find ways to grow earnings - look here chappies.

No retracement yet so much for the chartists only one way this stock is going and that is up. Good management, strong products merrydown, shloer ect. Cash in the bank this will be 100p plus shortly more if one of the big beverage companies move in.

Fair enough ncs. Personally I think you chose a bad time; just look out the window! The curent bottles all have a flyer saying a new bottle is on its way. No, I cant spell Shloer properly. I am a buyer at 70 and below. The action is just beginning. Unfortunately many small investors do sell out too early but time will tell. Just dont buy a ramp and dump stock with the money!!!

They tried introducing a 275ml bottle a few years ago - never saw it in the supermarkets!! If you were that into the product you may be able to spell it correctly barnetpeter.

I agree this is a hot product and the company has a strong Board. The company Divisionalised into Shloer and Cider a few years ago - I wonder why? However don't forget that Merrydown doesn't just consist of Shloer.

Being a small investor I couldn't resist selling at 74p. I built up my shareholding over a number of years paying between 21p and 37.5p. Nice little profit for me. However if the share price falls I will back in the market to buy more - if an offer ever materialises for Shloer I don't think the company will think twice to sell up.

What a beautiful day! Sainsburys near me were finding it hard to keep stocking up on Schloer as it flew off the shelves. Bought a bottle - tasty drink too. Time Meryydoen introduced different bottle sizes - all in good time I suppose.

no not a shorter,
"clever man is the word"

retracement is on the cards and if you dont except that prices
do go up and down then thats your problem..if you want to hold
for more profit its your choice and theirs nothing wrong with that,
imho, ive jumped on to another stock and made 20% since last week
and will be back in when retracement takes its toll...

i can see this falling like a knife, due for retracement now
SELL because having a look at the charts will fall to at least mid 40`s
THIS IS FALLING AND WILL CONTINE TO FALL!!!!

good luck! remember a profit is a profit,
but not till its been banked...
in this volatile market you have to keep the trend.

Must admit that the lack of interest in MYW is pretty incredible in view of recent price performance. Will do more research over w/e and, if I like the look of what I see, will monitor for a suitable entry point.

There is absolutely no interest in this stock on ADVFN ... yet I am so SURE it is a winner. So this message is for those who look for Merrydown in 2004, when the results are yet again above market expectations.

Why are I so sure? Here goes:

It has a big winner in Schloer, which is bringing in bucketloads of cash.
Have a look at the product next time you are in Tesco etc.

Summer looks like a hot one.

Cider is on the up; S and NEW have just bought out Strongbow and are looking to do a massive push which they say should grow the entire cider market.

Every chance of a take-over at a high premium.

Strong chart fundamentals.

Comments from CEO:

"I am delighted to report that earnings per share more than doubled in the year
to 31 March 2003. This has enabled the Board to propose a 24% increase in the
dividend. The balance sheet is very strong and the value of the business is
steadily growing. We look forward to these fundamentals being reflected in the
share price!"

It will be, in time.

So there you are, dear reader, this was my nap of the year for 2003. I appreciate the price has more than doubled to £1.75 since I wrote this but with Schloer now available in cans here in 2004, about £3 per share is a very realistic prospect.

Probably because people like me who have held this share for a year couldn't keep their nerve any longer when the P&f chart was showing such an overbought price

Excellent news. This is my top stock which I have a lot of confidence in. It has a really big winner in Shloer! Probably just a lucky hit but c'est la vie.

Profit taking by the 10 dayers after fast increase. Healthy to see this fall back to around 65p. Stay with her!

WHAT no one interested? Up another 10% this morning. A fantastic product, cornering the market. Bumper profits up, divi up - see above. No debt ....

The big drinks firms MUST be interested in this. Bid at around 1.50 IMO.

Dump those penny stocks with fleas and get on this QUICK.
