NAV Announcement

Net Asset Value

The Company announces that as at 31 March 2019 the unaudited net asset value ("NAV") per ordinary share was 108.41 pence.

The above NAV calculation is based on the Company's issued share capital as at 31 March 2019 of 100,000,000 ordinary shares of no par value.

The Company previously announced that it was aware of pricing information attributable to an expected transaction by one of its portfolio investments which represented a material increase in the value previously assigned to that investment. The Company can now confirm that the portfolio investment referred to was TransferWise and the 31 March 2019 NAV reflects its upward revaluation.

In addition, the Company confirms that its investment in Starling Bank completed on 10 April 2019 and is therefore post the period end for the purposes of calculating the NAV.

Pipeline

Following completion of a successful Placing under the Company's Placing Programme in April 2019, in which the Company raised gross proceeds of GBP100 million, the management team continues to pursue a strong pipeline of investment opportunities across a range of sectors.
