Adeyberry

maybe you miss my point.

multibaggers were common a few years ago. i can also scan the market at close and find the odd big winner.

how about you post the next 10 ( or 5 or even 2 ) bagger manyana before the event.

trust your instincts/research....stop looking for the multibagger in a week.....those days have GONE.

You are joking right?????????

Maybe you should have traded MT. and JRVS between Xmas and New Year, not to mention NTX friday?????? Multibagger in a day let alone a week!!!!

Speaking as an investor, I believe there is tremendous long term growth in mercury recycling, I am doubling up tomorrow!

a well known tip sheet has recommended this as a sell as its up over 100% on the tip.

1) its illiquid, just about every trade moves the price.
2) the spread is bloody ridiculous ( see 1 above)

3)if it was worth 75% gain from 20p ish, it still is, as no negative news has been forthcoming.

a few peeps have been lucky....bought low and sold high.....no mean feat with a 5p ( typical ) spread.

i reckon down monday, but it will be too late to sell by then.

trust your instincts/research....stop looking for the multibagger in a week.....those days have GONE.

ask yourself if you are an investor or a gambler

btw i hold a very modest amount at £200 loss at present.

Quasi.....totally agree with you, and altho surprised at the large retrace, will indeed take this opportunity to top up!

Hope this answers your question too Wesel!

Shouldn't be long now, looking at the MA's, before she starts going north again!

I don't view this as a short term hold but feel a great return will be had over the next 12 month period! IMHO.........

The technology is not 'rocket science' but the vagaries of the 'market' will always over react both on the upside and the down.
watch the moving averages they a better indicator of trend and if you heed these you will find 'the trend is your friend'
BUT
this one could be a good one for very short term trading - in and out and back in again - if this is your style.
unfortunately as Chairman of an investment club this can not be our style so we follow the trend. and keep lifting the stop loss so if it really falls out of bed we get dumped out without too much embarassment.

We bought into this a while ago when the price was 12p to 14p and NAV per share was 16p so we thought this one would eventually see its day come and it has.

We think it will gyrate about wildly due to its small market but as long as the trend is right 50p - 75p - or even 100p is our target.

shaunstreak......if u r a shareholder i would have thought u would have been up to speed enough to know the legislation is already in place regarding the disposal of mercury and has been for a few months now.

superrod - 31 Dec'04 - 12:43 - 24 of 32 edit

the chart looks excellent to chartists but may put off non chartists. ( ie up loads, must be due a fall ).

unfortunately shares have a tendency to go down on occasion

I agree wesel, this is a definate buy below 30-35p. With legislation looming for the recycling of mercury in flouresent lighting, this company should be one of the winners of 2005.

Results are just around the corner and no reason why they shouldn't very good given the legislation and the way this company is positioned. However, the price has gone up too fast so bound to be some profit takers. I think this is well worth watching. I will be jumping in heavily if the price dips below 30p.

whoops ... guess we might need to reconsider those last two posts - is this just a buying opp or an end to the current upward spike?

I wouldn't worry about it. Who cares what people think. As long as the share price is moving upwards that is all that matters.

Just an amazing rally. I am up over 100% now on these and am tempted to sell half but they keep moving up ...

Strange that a stock that is doing so well attracts so litle interest on this BB?

Happy New Year to all MRG holders!

I agree superod......

Only have a holding similar to yours, but will be topping up in the very near future.......can see this at 70/80p by the end of 2005!!

With the current increases in sp, it won't be long before this BB gets more than 1 post every few days, once people cotton on!!

i have a modest 2k shares, showing a very small profit at the mo. can see 50p easily on fundamentals alone. the chart looks excellent to chartists but may put off non chartists. ( ie up loads, must be due a fall ).
