24/3/2006 10:36 | No announcement of anykind. Unless there is a sell tip somewhere, I can only presume fall is precursor of a largish sell. At this time of year investors are busy crystallising capital gains and/or losses. | hosede
24/3/2006 09:22 | Down to 22/25p - Decided to have a quick look. Still looks over cooked PUGUGLY - 13 Aug'04 - 11:19 - 127 of 128 MV to t/o stll far too high. Refs give as 5.93. Still loss making in 1st half. NTAV only 2.3p per share. Apart from being in a FASHIONABLE area can see no investment reason to buy at the current price. If I am wrong I am sure someone will point out the errors of my way> | pugugly

10/8/2005 21:10 | LONDON (AFX) - The UK government said it is postponing implementation of the EU directive on collection and recycling of waste electronic and electrical equipment until June 2006. Trade and Industry Minister Malcolm Wicks said the decision comes after the business community expressed concern about the time needed to have facilities in place to recycle goods. The directive was originally scheduled to come into force in January. Under the regulations waste electrical items will be the responsibility of manufacturers and retailers. "This directive is about dealing effectively with electrical waste which can be damaging to the environment. It is challenging and has required a lot of planning and preparation but our priority is to get this right," Wicks said in a statement. Under the directive manufacturers will have to finance treatment and recycling/recovery of separately collected waste in the UK to specified treatment standards and recycling/recovery targets, the DTI said. Retailers have an obligation to offer take-back services to householders, it added. The extension on implementation is to allow more time to establish an "adequate network of facilities" for separate collection of waste for householders to use, the DTI said. The British Retail Consortium is developing a compliance scheme, under which participating retailers, instead of offering in-store take-back, will fund an alternative network of collection facilities. "As part of this, they are offering funding to Local Authorities to upgrade civic amenity (CA) sites to facilitate separate collection," the DTI said. newsdesk@afxnews.com fp/nes | cockneyrebel
14/7/2005 09:21 | Here we go. | stevedd
11/7/2005 09:38 | Up past 30.5 this morning. No news flow, except the director selling last week, but hopefully if we get a close at this level then we'll get the strong push up towards 50p. | stevedd
10/6/2005 16:04 | Horneblower, Yes I nuderstand what youer saying now, lets hope your right ! | shaunstreak
08/6/2005 11:55 | shaunstreak, I'm a chartist and I feel the chart has potential. But it needs to confirm certain questions before I am convinced enough to risk my money. The chart looks like a head and shoulders which would be bearish. However, an H&S can turn bullish if the price rises over the shoulderline (30.5p). If that happens, I would expect a strong rise towards 50p. So I am waiting until we exceed a 30.5p close. Even then I might wait for confirmation, which would be a return to the shoulderline and a bounce off it. It is a small stock and the chart is therefor less trustworthy than a fat, liquid one. Does this help? | horneblower
07/6/2005 20:26 | Horneblower, Sorry I miss read your mail, thought it said by on close below 30.5p. May be I'm missing something here, if you like the stock and expect rise to 50p why would you not buy in now at a lower share price ? Or are you refering to going short on this ? | shaunstreak
07/6/2005 00:06 | shaunstreak, No, I didn't because, as I said in my post, "buy on any close over 30.5p" and it hasn't; not yet anyway. Let me know when it does. | horneblower
06/6/2005 17:18 | horrneblower, so did you buy in as you suggest in your post ? Nothnig like putting yuor money where your mouth is.................. | shaunstreak |
