The May Sharewatch has a great write up on MGP. It concludes with the following remark: "It looks a fabulous business with a glittering future."

Certainly some decent volume today but the share price remains pretty static. WJG exhibited very similar behavior before heading northwards with a breakout from around 120p to 180p. Just a bit of patience required before MGP has it's time IMHO.

According to the LSE website Medica Gp is SETS traded (even though it is not yet in the small cap index). If that is true then it is difficult to see how the share price could be 'held back' since it is an automatic buyer/seller matching process.
However, I do think there are some trades going on in the background. I know nothing about the 'dark pool' stuff but I can imagine it happening.
For what it's worth I believe that the MGP share price chart is in a consolidation phase before a fair sized movement (which I hope will be upwards)

Yes, not quite sure how but I think that the price is being held back as a fund builds a position. I have been increasing my holding around this level.

I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to whether MGP's share movement is in line with what they were expecting in relation to the Small Cap index inclusion?

I am probably being naive to think that the price would move up on some institutional index related buying and would appreciate thoughts from others on this.

The SCSW made no mention of their 4th May meeting with Medica in their June newsletter.

What they did state though was:

- as Medica has paid off their VC loan, EBITDA margin is expected to be increase from 28.5% to circa 31%
- the business is expected to grow at compound rate of 35.5% between 2016-2019
- the initial target price is 253p
- the IT platform can support a trebling of volumes with minimal investment

The trebling of volumes comment may relate to Medica’s plans to launch breast breast imaging, bowel cancel imaging and PET scans.

I wonder when those services will come online?

Yes it's looking good.

More importantly, the institutions havent got long to buy before Small Cap index inclusion next week and then i think 260p-270p next level.
