What persuades you to go in for Unit trusts Tim? (rather than Investment trusts).

Thanks EI for pointing these outVery interesting share.Looks like the financials have pulled it down while gsk has helped it recently The divi is incredibly consistent probably the most consistent I have come across Considering getting in at £4 or below as it looks like a good entry.Looking for a long term steady income investment. In terms of yield these look better than many of the equity income unit trusts I follow although the fall from £5 would have seriously reduced total returns.

tel, below the top tier holdings they hold SL as one example, PRU from
memory, MKS etc.

MRCH generally underweight defensives.

seems strange that share price languishing in the mire given that most holdings have risen lloyds been the poorest performer in the holdings , also 6p dividend for holders on 15 th of month

We may be near the pre Brexit NAV on these prices today, may exceed that.

Powerful rally here.

With that update I make the NAV fall 11-12% over the last 2 trading days,
tomorrow likely to see an uplift if current market levels hold.

WO, the gearing here is also worth noting imv, that was some fall in NAV
on yesterday's update, the reverse applies on better days.

However the MRCH current focus looks underweight defensives.

Agreed, EI, got to tread carefully atm, ftse 250 hit very hard relative to the 100 these last couple of days. Today's NAV statement will be interesting, but I wouldn't want to be buying at a premium right now...

Surprised to see some Buy trades going through well in to the 390's this AM.

NAV took a huge hit on the update yesterday, it looked about a 6-7% fall
and is likely to be lower again on today's figure.

Bought a small amount just under 385 yesterday, around that level or
lower looks a better entry point imv, unless you consider markets will
continue to bounce strongly from here - all just imv only.

It was 10 pence lower than this at one stage last week,
might possibly have a bigger move in the afternoon.
