16/1/2013 22:20 | for the classicists ganymede was Jupter's rent boy. | mrsapeslaptop
16/1/2013 21:46 | Alacrity FX now appears to be part of Ganymede Partners LLP. Funnily this company was never mentioned in RNS' by MHG as far as I am aware, but is on the internet in a few places as a trading name of Merchant Capital and the staff were down as working for Merchant Capital too. Merchant House Financial Services listing has also gone from GXG. | zitec
16/1/2013 12:56 | James Holmes no longer authorised by FSA | macsam
14/1/2013 10:27 | Pyx Markets now partnered with Stargate Capital Management for its FSA authorisation. Likely to have just partnered but may have been sold. https://www.fsa.gov. From an old RNS: PYX is an Appointed Representative of MHG's wholly-owned subsidiary Merchant Capital Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, and PYX is 47% owned by Merchant Trading LLP, an MHG group company. | zitec
14/1/2013 08:18 | Duplicated, sorry. | andy
14/1/2013 08:18 | Loverat, Pleasure, just sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I think this could turn out to be a far more tangled web than Langbar. | andy
14/1/2013 05:54 | This a link posted sometime back. Just thought I'd repost as some of the updated comments on the discussion site are quite interesting. Difficult to comprehend the scale of what has happened and how many people may be affected but in terms of losses, perhaps some may be fearing a situation on par with some events at Langbar. | loverat
14/1/2013 05:34 | Seem to be one or two accounts on Twitter complaining about staff not being paid for two months and some surprise at the liquidation. Andy - thanks for paying a visit. I reckon that's the last we hear of the directors here until they resurface in a AIM company near you. | loverat
11/1/2013 19:06 | Whilst I was not popular for flagging various concerns here in the past I still very much regret your potential losses, as in all honesty it is IMO unlikely that any value will be recovered for ordinary shareholders. Whilst James appears to be the focal point for your concerns, I would not overlook Martin and as for Craig well more than enough has been said about his involvement already. I just hope that given time you all manage to make good elsewhere. | mike111d
11/1/2013 10:41 | So does anyone know the whereabouts of Merchant House group? They have vacated Lime St. so where are they now? Don't they have to have a registered address? | andy
11/1/2013 10:05 | Merchant Capital being put into Liquidation soon then. www.fundweb.co.uk/ho | dubois
11/1/2013 02:44 | If criminal proceedings don't follow. I reported them to the FSA 18 months ago who were very dismissive as I didnt have an obvious agenda. v happy to forward my mails and their response(s) if you follow up in the courts etc. | mrsapeslaptop
10/1/2013 21:39 | Wait to see the management/employees snap up the forex assets and division for peanuts from the administrator. | zitec
10/1/2013 20:11 | Thanks Andy. | moormoney
10/1/2013 19:55 | Ok I visited the property just after 18.00 as I was delayed. The friendly receptionist informed me that all the Merchant companies that were there have gone. I did ask when they left, and she said "everyone asks that", and said she wasn't sure, all she knows is they have gone. Sorry for the bad news, but it's important people are informed and aware. | andy
10/1/2013 13:36 | No I was just going to check out whether they still occupy their offices or not. I will post after I have been round there later. | andy
10/1/2013 13:32 | I thought you wanted to make contact with James: | mike111d
10/1/2013 12:16 | Perhaps you could go via Wimbledon. | mike111d
