28/11/2012 09:39 | Is Mr Ross away? I do feel sympathetic towards him. Think he had a fair few of these. It's not dead....merely in a coma... | lufc5
28/11/2012 09:34 | Well, my shares have disappeared from my account. Good riddance. At least I don't need to think about this scummy outfit on a day to day basis any longer. | loverat
28/11/2012 09:28 | MP - Well..like the bankers and politicians ...noone is gonna be held to account for this disaster .... whilst ythey enjoy all the money they have made while presiding over this.... | sirraman
27/11/2012 22:51 | Bizarre to mention preserving value now in an RNS as when listed surely all was done to destroy value! | officerdigby
27/11/2012 22:04 | my dice are on magp and tpet thanks Zitec but I hold a tiny amount of bor. | moormoney
27/11/2012 21:59 | If anyone has one throw of the dice left, you could do a lot worse than getting into BOR and FOGL at these levels. | zitec
27/11/2012 21:42 | Not that I am defending these shysters but I think they really wanted to get this back on AIM, purely for their own reasons of course. But looks like the FSA are playing hardball and I suppose they are right too. Now Merchant House Financial Services is listed on GXG Markets so there is an option and know-how to get MHG listed there too if they secure some funding and if they really are serious about preserving shareholder value. The best thing they can do for shareholders in the next few weeks is to make a firm decision on whether to liquidate MHG or get a firm listing on a market somewhere. No "jam tommorow" for the next two years like you see at the likes of ERX. Merchant Corporate Recovery situation won't have helped and this cancellation will probably make things worse for bondholders as there is probably some of that cash in shares here somewhere. For them with £4m+ of bondholders cash, face an even bigger potential loss than shareholders here. This could get very messy, all depends on how they play it. | zitec
27/11/2012 21:38 | Thanks for all the support--not what we all wanted but there you go! Good luck everyone let's hope we get some better returns elsewhere. | moormoney
27/11/2012 20:47 | I've seen other AIM shares delist elsewhere and keep their PIs shareholdings in place so there may be a light at the end of this long dark tunnel but if the people who offered the cash to keep MHG going pull out because of these idiots failure to maintain their AIM listing then that will be that. Odds stacked against PIs here so not expecting anything back now. Would be nice to see this lot investigated and charged with something at least but doubt that we'll see anything on that either. RIP MHG | monkey puzzle
27/11/2012 20:27 | Another one to add to my long list, it looks like I will stick to the National Lottery, better odds there instead of AIM or Plus | sweepie2
27/11/2012 19:51 | you will get some consolation in that I expect a likelihood criminal charges in respect of Merchant Corporate Recovery. just my personal opinion | mrsapeslaptop
27/11/2012 19:06 | I am truly sorry for your losses here folks. Whilst this outcome was all but inevitable IMO, I had hoped that somehow you might receive better news. In truth I am surprised that the regulator allowed matters to drag on for as long as they did. | mike111d
27/11/2012 18:59 | James Holmes is a crook and frauster. | bubble pricker
27/11/2012 18:44 | That's that then. Might as well write off any shares. Being delisted means that they are now out of the public eye as far as looking after shareholders is concerned - even if the discussions they talk about succeed. Another James Holmes company to add to the growing list of disasters. | loverat
27/11/2012 18:33 | 27 November 2012 MERCHANT HOUSE GROUP PLC (the "Company") Cancellation of admission to trading on AIM The Company regrets to announce that despite considerable efforts by the Board, the Company has been unable to raise sufficient funding in time in order to restore trading on AIM in the Company's ordinary shares and therefore admission to AIM will be cancelled pursuant to the AIM rules with effect from 7.00am on 28 November 2012. The Company has entered into some investment agreements which are conditional, inter alia, on the lifting of the suspension in trading in the Company's ordinary shares. The directors intend to enter into discussion with the funding parties to determine if this condition may be waived. There is no guarantee that these discussions will result in a satisfactory outcome but shareholders and creditors will be updated within the next few days. In the meantime the Company will consider all the options open to it to preserve value for stakeholders. | lufc5
27/11/2012 16:04 | No more news here I see. I simply cannot see this coming back now. | loverat
26/11/2012 14:18 | Ignore that, just me thinking out loud | zitec
26/11/2012 14:01 | Sorry remind me again about Worthington group... sorry Z.. forgotten.. | the ross
26/11/2012 12:12 | Here comes craigy boy with his MHG funding ;-) | zitec
23/11/2012 21:29 | you can forget this coming back | edjodav
23/11/2012 18:52 | It will be a month next Thursday since the last substantive RNS and communication from the company, surely the regulator will not allow this to drag on without a further update much past this time. Again I do hope that you get the news you are looking for, not that you can influence the outcome at this stage. | mike111d
21/11/2012 13:56 | Unless that means his idea of using EBT's after all was a valid way forward prior to him getting booted out of Rangers? | the ross
21/11/2012 12:29 | TR, vindication for Rangers but certainly not for CW. | mike111d
21/11/2012 12:19 | CW must be breathing a sigh of relief today and probably vindication as well I imagine... | the ross |
