Finished my skim read of the results, headlines for me, cash and liquid assets a bit less than expected, but with the recent 1p placing stands at circa £300k including the £34k investment, IMHO this investment also ensures we are investment policy compliant and removes any risk of suspension,

So we are a listed clean shell with circa £300k of cash and liquid assets, retained losses of circa £6M which may or may not be utilised in the future, a relatively small free float, negligible costs and we are completely clear of any legacy, with a knowledgable, professional and connected BOD,

TW's closing note sums it for me and I will continue to add.....DYOR.....GL S

Some PIs selling.....big investors have increased their holding and MCR raised some funds via a placing at 1p recently so the investors must have had a view from the current Board of what is in the pipeline? IMO it is likely there will be some news after or alongside the results....but since there has not been much comms from this Board ref progress...as RGF says....this is AIM so its a two way bet....who know ?

Lets hope the bet falls the right was and MCR ends up with a good acquisition soon...

SW, you are spot on to fully consider the risks, but IMHO there is a very different level of quality with the BOD at Mercer.......GL S

soulman08, I would like to see the finals released before the 30th and it will be disappointing if they are not, as for the implementation of the investing policy, that can be squared away a few ways to keep the listing active, but surely the key thing IMHO is the quality and future potential of the deal, so I am not to fussed if that goes beyond August........GL S

People not wanting locked in on what could be a long suspension even if a deal is announced which I'm sure it will be in due course.
They may need longer though and can suspend it at end of July for up to 6 months as they try to conclude something.
I think.
Their last deals were not very good for the PI though so the jury is out.
They may take a long time deliberating.
Its a gamble , it could pay off or not.

The thought of suspension would appear to be stimulating some activity?, L2 currently 2 v 1, with PMUR/WINS bidding and PEEL on the offer, on line limits opening up and currently 1M available at full offer.......GL S

IMHO suspension on Tuesday if finals not issued and suspension end of July early August if the investment policy is not implemented..as always DYOR.....GL S

Morning all.....L2 remains 2 v 1, albeit a bit lower on the bid, SCAP/WINS continue to bid and PEEL are on the offer, on line limits still in place, but currently 500,000 available at 0.93p, with results due today, tomorrow or Monday to meet market requirements, things should hopefully start to become a bit clearer?.....GL S
