20/10/2022 10:47 | None more disappointed than me, any tips on where to invest to try and recoup 80% losses! ;0) | sharemez
20/10/2022 09:06 | ShareMez that's disappointing to hear and probably not unsurprising listening to the bullish interviews he has presented over the years. He could do with a bucketful of humility with the damage done to all our finances and less of the arrogance. | super y
20/10/2022 08:39 | Yeah........I've not posted here for a while but I have had some fun with our resident looney Blackhawk Down / Jade Grimestopper / Whatever his Names are, and had some more light hearted banter with Chris Cat but I'm done with our lead man Monsieur Levene. Interestingly what tipped me over the edge was listening to a bit of chat between his son and him setting up for a meeting when the host was asking them to not use Safari on their apple device as it wasn't the best platform to use, and the dismissive arrogance with which they spoke to the host was interesting and perhaps symptomatic of the esteem that shareholders are held. It was a while ago but I've not been able to let it drop from the back of my mind. Sold out this morning after eight and half years at significant loss. GLA - I really think you're going to need it. | sharemez
19/10/2022 19:04 | Piperpeter AKA corruptPL,stop crying and fix your act. Corruption will not fly | blackjade11
19/10/2022 18:58 | hxxps://www.abc.com. PL partner in Paraguay. corruption and more corruption. the Paraguay assets will be frozen in the corruption quagmire until lifted | crimestoppers1
19/10/2022 17:52 | Stockopedia rates MEN as a value trap but has a share price target 5 times over the current price. It might be worth a punt at these levels. It rates Atome as a sucker stock! Can MEN take all the money out of Argentina if all the assets are sold? | investorwil
19/10/2022 13:23 | Chris, thanks for your considered comments. As for pp, I am entitled to be somewhat annoyed by the amount of cash I am losing on Peter Levine’s failure here. I am obviously annoyed at my naivety in having faith in him for years. The last thing I want is to drive the share price down. I can’t afford to crystallise my losses here and just hope that the ppc spin-offs will recover some of my savings. | barony
19/10/2022 09:55 | Brasso probably sold his 5 million (divided by 200) share yesterday. | bengal1
19/10/2022 09:51 | Can't help but keep coning back to see what happened here since my exist .. this company never fail to surprise me Brasso either gave up now on his holding or sold out .. Looks like even the management has also given up on the oil and gas operation in Argentina. The last rns saying that they will now pay the loans back .. of course he wants to pay him self back now before there is no money left to pay from . | naplion
19/10/2022 09:35 | Brasoo has gone missing, someone contact the police and report him missing! Could be a kidnap. We need him back, very important contributor to this site, has a wealth of knowledge in the gas/oil sector! | shabs2
18/10/2022 23:30 | The share price is going to hit £10 by Xmas and we'll all be rich, does that make you feel better PP! | shabs2
18/10/2022 16:24 | PP - Not contrived at all, trying to understand/explain why this share simply refuses to go anywhere other than South. As I said many many times, I long for the day when your relentless faith and positivity is rewarded as I will finally see a return on my long suffering negative ISA/SIPP. As I said, my comments are there to spark a sensible debate, IF anything I have said is nonsense, feel free to put a counter argument, that's what these BB's are for. I have no problem in somebody calling me out. | chris cat
18/10/2022 15:57 | Barony, I suspect all three. We did really well a few years ago to pay down most of the "expensive" debt except the one to PL, His loan is expensive but covenant light, so that may have looked like a good idea at the time....alternativel We then went on a borrowing spree to invest in assets that haven't produced as much as we'd hope (but are still contributing) on a project that overran, in a country that we can't extract our cash. Bad luck, bad management or just the pitfalls of working in the oil industry in remote parts of a large country. All operations are risky and hindsight it wonderful etc. What the company can control is its communication and PR, you can judge for yourself our performance on that score. | chris cat
18/10/2022 15:44 | When will this constant drift down stop? Is it all because our main assets are in Argentina, because we have an expensive loan from PL, or because the market isn’t fond of PL, or all three? | barony
18/10/2022 14:57 | I feel your frustration piper!! It feels as if we will soon be back to being a penny share. | super y
18/10/2022 14:32 | It's still early doors since the rejig so maybe too early to point out that Brasso did call it. Sadly this share has been on a downward spiral for the best part of 13 years so perhaps foolish to think rejigging the shares in issue would change that. There is of course the very real possibility that they might be getting ready for a placing to fund the Greenhouse Stuff...and those in the know are dragging the price down. | chris cat |
