Leek is good. Gravy too. Perhaps you might need to write a shopping list for Burford holders. I’m not quite sure they can afford beef. Love Muddy XXX

There’ll be no foreign alioli or padron peppers when we leave the EU. You’ll have to make do with a braised leek or cabbage and a british beef gravy.

Getting Yes, that’s the one. Also taking up the rights issue, when 62% of it weren’t taken up, and saying that as a professional investor he knew better than the “chimps.”; 😁😁😁 Rolls Royce, another of his great investments going DOWN.

Oh yes, the one where he kept saying "i don't just think, I KNOW this is undervalued because I can read accounts, and the rest of you morons aren't professional investors like me" And then the share price slid from 500p all the way down to 70p!

B+, hottest I've ever been was a place called Vidal Junction in the Mojave desert in California. Car dashboard reckoned 124F. Minerve has been telling everyone they're morons again and that he is always right blah blah blah. So I've been re-posting that ludicrous post he wrote in 2015 about how brilliant Woodford is to remind him how wrong he can be!!!

Meanwhile, it was served with alioli and Canarian potatoes, no gravy. I had some Padron peppers on the side. ❤️ 084;️❤️ Getting

Getting We were in Norfolk a couple of weeks ago with the 35C and 25C at night. A bit stifling although in the early 1980s I was in the Sahara with 50C, albeit with no humidity. Re the markets I am quite easy. I remain about 80% cash and near cash, ready to pile in during the next correction. Has eVermin2 been trying to wind you up. Just mention Kier, AA, etc to the master investor😂28514;😂.

Did you have gravy on the T-bone?

B+, had a pretty good T-bone last night, very juicy. Temperature is 28C, but that’s utterly predictable at this time of year here, a bit different to the stock market!

MEANWHILE Have you seen the BUR share price this morning? ROFLMAO! Getting is desperate dragging out a 4 year old comment isn't he. I wouldn't want to be him when his wife finds out about his FAILED investing. PLUS, PURP, BUR.......

A good gravy to accompany the roast beef does, of course, need to have been browned in the container in which the beef has been cooked. I'd have thought this was obvious.

3 pounds by Christmas (that's last Christmas of course). Or was it even 4 pounds? We'd have to troll back over historical postings to see -- and who would have the time to do that?

The more I read this post, the more hilarious it seems... "minerve 16 Nov '15 - 22:10 - 465 I have been in this business over 20 years. I can reassure you Woodford is up there with the best there is, no question. Of course, investing is not a game of perfection, it never will be, it is a game of managing risk with a view to long-term growth and not many will do it better than Woodford. I am a great admirer of him as a professional and as an individual. His views and attitudes pretty much mirror mine and his willingness to be open and transparent is second to none. If I had to hand my money over to someone in trust for the future, he would be the first, even before family members. Woodford is no different now than he was decades ago. Solid 100% professional with untouched integrity."

I had been surprised to hear only silence today from the 3 stooges, who generally join in discussions of MRO movements (even the steep declines), roast beef, outdoor activities & equipment etc. That was until I saw the Burford Capital share price today. Probably just a blip.

And no redness to the beef either. You can't get a good gravy unless you thoroughly cook the beef.

Our garden furniture is standing up well to the frequent rainstorms. It pays to give the wood a good coat of Sadolin each year. Let's hope Carlisle United have a better year than last.
