Very meat-centric with the meat carved off a big skewer at your table. The best cut was top sirloin culotte in a chilli marinade served on mooli and edamame salad. Marbled rib-eye was good too. Our waitress was from São Paulo! I’m going to an Argentinian restaurant in London next week which is meant to be incredible.

Jackdaw In my opinion three things would help the sp 1 Taking Woodford out of the equation 2 Excellent results on 25 July 3 listing on the FTSE I think all three together would give it a major boost. I’m not sure about SAGA, it’s performance has been dire like the AA. meanwhile might be able to help, it’s more his cup of tea I think.

"operational performance can be improved." Yeah right. Magic Melrose Maestros! ROFLMAO! Anyone can sack people, reduce depreciation and amortisation, switch debt to leases, capitalise R&D, improve cost of capital by getting the right debt/equity balance, sell off outlier assets bla bla bla. How about some real quality shareholder value generation folks? Is it here? I dunno. You tell me! ROFLMAO!

Getting We have wonderful strawberries locally. Can’t get enough. I’m really enjoying all the wonderful local produce to cook with. There really is nothing to beat great food and wine, and although I don’t like to brag (thats brag with one g) Mrs Brexitplus thinks I am an excellent cook. Good day on the markets today. Very pleasing. Did you know that Churchill became PM in 1940 and not 1939? Even someone with a 3rd class degree, or even no degree or all, knows that. Unfortunately people who brag about their degrees aren’t so clever with dates. And when they get them wrong, due to their embarrassment, try to change the subject and get further in the mire.

Market report: Melrose Industries was among the top gainers as RBC Capital Markets highlighted the stock as one of its top picks in a note entitled 'European Equity Large Cap Best Ideas'. Among other things, it pointed to the company's "unique" business plan, which involves acquiring underperforming industrial businesses whose operational performance can be improved. It also pointed to a possible £5-6bn of asset disposals in the next 12 to 24 months, said end-market worries are overdone and cited management's "excellent" track record. Oh dear, how awful. Not another bragster share on the slide. It's Burford today. What will it be tomorrow?

Meanwhile, how on earth did you get two 1st class degrees when you can’t even spell ‘brag’?? I’ve never seen anyone put a double ‘g’ on brag! But then again, I’ve never known anyone get so confused by rights issues to the extent that they completely miscalculate their own gains!

On the subject of posters using the Melrose board to bragg about their other holdings, and resulting gains, it's always interesting to look back at some of their braggings. The £3 by Christmas of brexitplus is a legend here. Here's another example :- Yertiz - 07 Feb 2019 - 13:06:59 - 8364 of 10215 Melrose PLC with Charts and News - MRO He says : "Wise move. I've bought more Halma, Hikma, Evraz, RSA, Plus500 in the last 2 weeks. All sitting pretty, and all Brexit-proof to some extent." Well some of these have gained a bit, 10% over that period from early Feb., but the real 'Star' of the list is PLUS500, with a change from yertiz's purchase period of 7th Feb and the preceeding 2 weeks, where it was in the range 1520-1635, to today's 522p. Rather than PLUS500, it's MINUS500 X 2. It may have been brexit-proof, but sadly not idiot-proof. Almost enough for a big-headed old seadog to launch himself overboard.

Ho ho That doesn’t work. Boris was Foreign Secretary in 2016. And Maggie Leader of the Opposition 1975. You could choose any date really. Try again, perhaps in one of your alternative identities. I’m sure you can get them to agree that you are right. Regarding education, David Lammy studied at Harvard Law School and Diane Abbott at Newnham College, Cambridge, and just look at them.

brexitplus really must read other people's posts more carefully, otherwise he will continue to make these silly mistakes. Perhaps this failing of his accounts for achieving only a 3rd Class science degree, as opposed to my 2 1st Class degrees. meanwhile wrote : "Has anyone noticed that we get these chances every 40 years. Churchill 1939, Thatcher 1979, Johnson 2019." Did I say that Churchill became PM in 1939. No, I did not, but history records :- "On 3 September 1939, the day Britain declared war on Germany following the outbreak of the Second World War, Churchill was appointed First Lord of the Admiralty."

Yertiz, couldn’t help wondering what schizo posted in response to your accurate post. He was wrong again. Churchill was 1940, not 1939.😁ԅ13;😁
