"Framilode. Pub lunch. Beautiful weather. Who would want to spend the day posting on a computer?!!!"

Somebody at home working, maybe. Somebody with a broken leg. Somebody who walked yesterday and is walking again tomorrow.
Many more possibilities, if you put your mind to it.

Just back from a fabulous day’s walking along the River Severn. Frampton on Severn, Fretherne, Arlingham, Framilode. Pub lunch. Beautiful weather. Who would want to spend the day posting on a computer?!!!

Valentine’s dinner was excellent.

Anything happening in the world of note?

Just got my copy of this months 'North Wales Sheep farmers and Poultry Farmers Gazette'.

There's an excellent article on French & German wines.

Yes, let's have more and closer contact on this site.

"Heaven, I'm in heaven,
And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find the happiness I seek
When we're out together dancing, cheek to cheek."

"Let's have some info or debate then, with you starting off." was taken as crabby as I had, as you now know, already done that...

I, on the other hand, got no cards.

eipgam,

You are quite correct about your post 8502, which contained good information and which I had missed.

Please identify to me the 'crabby' words in my post. And, by the way, I got about 90 valentine cards, all from women, some under age 60.

MW. No need to be crabby, lots of people didn't get a Valentine card...

And see my post 8502 from the day before yesterday. Contains info not available in the financial or trade press or by RNS, I'm afraid I haven't got any more at the minute.

Melrose are pushing forward in advanced manufacturing at GKN which should put competitors at a disadvantage when quoting.

Yes, overdue, eipgam. Let's have some info or debate then, with you starting off.

I know brexit and Minerve has some opinion held in reserve.

I dunno... he's got a point. It does seem a long time since posts contained any info or debate on MRO whatever the opinion of the company, a very long time.

I wonder if MRO/GKN is affected by the A380 slow down.

AZN going like a rocket , I'm over the moon.

I've tried and tried and still can't work out what that word is...

Melrose seem to be keeping their heads down and getting on with the task at hand, judging by the lack of news and comment.

Meanwhile. Sounds good to me. We will be out walking in the Cotswolds on this beautiful day. Probably a pint and a sandwich at lunchtime at a pub near Cirencester. Dinner is this evening. I might post a photo!!!

We'll be celebrating, in the middle of a walk, with a McDonalds chicken wrap & fries, washed down with a choice of sodi pop. Wonderful.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

I must say it’s great having a lovely wife to share it with. We started celebrating yesterday at Loch Fyne in Bath. Champagne, oysters, lobster. Wonderful.

And today I’m cooking. Seared tuna with chilli mayonnaise and roast tomatoes, sauté potatoes and purple sprouting from the garden, washed down with a bottle of bubbly.

Of course, if you have never been married .......
