Just back from a fabulous day’s walking along the River Severn. Frampton on Severn, Fretherne, Arlingham, Framilode. Pub lunch. Beautiful weather. Who would want to spend the day posting on a computer?!!!

Valentine’s dinner was excellent.

Please identify to me the 'crabby' words in my post. And, by the way, I got about 90 valentine cards, all from women, some under age 60.

Meanwhile. Sounds good to me. We will be out walking in the Cotswolds on this beautiful day. Probably a pint and a sandwich at lunchtime at a pub near Cirencester. Dinner is this evening. I might post a photo!!!

Happy Valentine’s Day.

I must say it’s great having a lovely wife to share it with. We started celebrating yesterday at Loch Fyne in Bath. Champagne, oysters, lobster. Wonderful.

And today I’m cooking. Seared tuna with chilli mayonnaise and roast tomatoes, sauté potatoes and purple sprouting from the garden, washed down with a bottle of bubbly.

Of course, if you have never been married .......
