06/12/2018 11:36 | Suggest you indulge yourself. Christmas tree lights look great. Now just on our second coffee. | brexitplus
06/12/2018 11:32 | "at market top" What market top? Define the market top. Indulge us. | minerve
06/12/2018 11:25 | Zimmer Believe what you want. I don’t believe anything you say, so that makes two of us, doesn’t it monkeyglands. Also cashed out of Mrs Brexitplus’s sizeable SIPP at market top and will reinvest when applicable. As it is, we have plenty to outlive us. Please don’t concern yourself about us. We’re having fun. Christmas tree going up this morning. | brexitplus
06/12/2018 11:20 | I don't believe you Brexit. You are full of sh*t. And even if you were, that would be the wrong thing to do, because your portolio now runs too larger proportion of inflation risk and pricing risk. Never catch Buffet 80% cash. ROFLMAO! Maybe you might have the balls to update us when you buy in. At what point do you buy in? What rationale will you use? Or is it Brexit's amazing gut feeling! ROFLMAO! What a donkey! | minerve
06/12/2018 11:12 | I can’t say I’m fussed. I’m 80% in cash at present - just waiting. And plenty of dividends on my stock market investments. Will add selectively. Looking forward to Christmas. | brexitplus
06/12/2018 10:57 | Thought I would play this. Very apt. ROFLMAO! Deeper and down. Get down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Get down deeper and down I want all the world to see To see you're laughing, and you're laughing at me I can take it all from you Again again again again Again again again and deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Get down deeper and down I have all the ways you see To keep you guessing, stop your messing with me You'll be back to find your way Again again again again Again-gain-gain-gain deeper and down | minerve
06/12/2018 10:46 | Tried some good gins yesterday with many different blends of tonic from Fevertree. Aromatic tonic was very nice. Probably the best tasted. 3/1 mix of course. | minerve
06/12/2018 10:43 | Good morning folks, chimps, chimps on expenses! ROFLMAO! So, look at what is happening. I said on this thread, or perhaps it was another, that domestic shares were some of the cheapest going. Again, look at what is happening. PE adjustment, rotation, concerns about world growth etc.. etc.. Brexit - a big mistake that one. Some idiots never learn do they. Don't try and compete with Minerve, you will not be able to within the sphere of investing. Oh, look at BUR, Yertiz, you plonka! I'd stick to sports if I were you. LOL MEANWHILE Good sale the other day. It may be a while before the others get to see your price that you sold. Even though you voted Brexit, I don't consider you a chimp like the others. You can provide rationale to your argument and continue with eyes open. You are not ignorant with your head in the sand like the other chimps and chimps on expenses. ;) | minerve
06/12/2018 10:43 | NOTE THE BIG EMPHASIS ON ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING AND COMPOSITES PLUS AIRBUS COLLABORATION IN THIS NEWS RELEASE - THE WAY AHEAD GKN AEROSPACE ANNOUNCES NEW £32M GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY CENTRE IN BRISTOL Centre will act as a hub for world-class innovative technology for the next generation of fuel-efficient aircraft Public-private investment enables world-class centre for 300 highly skilled engineers GTC will collaborate with UK research community and supply chain to strengthen aerospace technology and support UK Industrial strategy The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Greg Clark, and the Chief Executive of GKN Aerospace, Hans Büthker today revealed plans for GKN Aerospace’s new Global Technology Centre in the UK. The new centre - funded by a £17m commitment from GKN Aerospace and a £15m commitment from the UK Government, through the Aerospace Technology Institute - is expected to open in 2020. Once open the 10,000 square metre facillity will host 300 highly skilled engineers, and will include collaborative space for research and development with universities, the UK’s CATAPULT network and GKN Aerospace’s UK supply chain. The centre will focus on additive manufacturing (AM), advanced composites, assembly and industry 4.0 processes to enable the high rate production of aircraft structures. The Bristol centre joins a growing list of GKN Aerospace Centres of Technical Excellence around the world. Each centre has a unique technology focus - covering AM, thermoplastics and smart aero-engine systems - and is supported and linked by a clear digital strategy. Commenting Chief Executive of GKN Aerospace, Hans Büthker said: “GKN Aerospace can trace its engineering heritage back to the 18th century and we are proud of our role as a leading player in the UK’s world leading aerospace sector. “The GTC will ensure we continue to develop new technologies that deliver for our customers, making aircraft more sustainable and economical. 06/12/2018 10:00 | Great article in City AM this morning. Give it a read! hxxp://www.cityam.co | jackdaw4243
06/12/2018 09:26 | Highly tempted to buy more this am, oversold IMHO. | yertiz
05/12/2018 23:37 | MEANWHILE Well done on your sale. Cash pays the bills. Egos and wishful thinking don't. | minerve
05/12/2018 23:27 | "Hammering"? Down 3.2%? That's nothing. Besides, they would have to be really "hammered" to get anywhere near my average buy in. | minerve
05/12/2018 17:41 | Oh No RR taking a hammering | jackdaw4243
05/12/2018 16:10 | Ryelodge, except you just did crow about it! And let's think, who used to always talk about how stuffed their wallet was and how they could buy a car with each MRO dividend? So hypocritical!! | gettingrichslow
05/12/2018 15:56 | I think "Min" is also feeling similar pain to me by being in BAB so have some sympathy and understanding with his situation. We have just had the first Sunday in Advent so a little Christmas spirit is in order. | jackdaw4243
05/12/2018 13:14 | Can't imagine any right-minded woman would ever volunteer to assist with Minerve's contribution to the gene pool. Probably find his 'daughter', like the business he used to own, his GF, his trades or even today's lunch are all a figment of his imagination. | yertiz
05/12/2018 13:07 | B+, I wonder if he'd be proud to show his daughter some of his posts on here? I suspect she'd be quite embarrassed. My boss is a woman for a start! She never tells me what to do either - she's great - but Minny obviously assumes all big bosses are men... | gettingrichslow
05/12/2018 12:06 | Getting, I see that Canaccord and and JP Morgan have greatly reduced their forecasts for Kier. I wonder if Zimmer’s daughter is a ‘chip off the old block’, foul language and all. Hope she doesn’t drink as much as him. | brexitplus
05/12/2018 12:03 | Off to an nice country pub for lunch. It has won awards. Having fun. Living life to the full. | minerve
05/12/2018 11:56 | Not there yet but it's blue sky at least. Yes, I wondered about Ryelodge too. I hope he is ok, I have a soft spot for the old fool really. I think of him as a slightly grumpy old Uncle in a brown cardigan in an armchair, sipping on a pint of Brains ale while trying to work the new smartphone his niece bought him for Xmas. He entered the share price competition then went AWOL. Let's hope he hasn't happened had a Losos-style fall in all that sheep poo over there. | gettingrichslow
05/12/2018 11:33 | Full on meltdown! Love the bit where he claims to be up on Kier (err, yep ok...) then suddenly remembers I'm supposed to be filtered! Minny, I'm on the Eurostar to Paris having a pretty tough time of it today, sipping red wine and enjoying the view while getting paid for it - it's hard out here in the working world!! | gettingrichslow |
