Posted at 15/2/2021 22:39 by the modeller The share price of the 84 per cent owner of Napster, NASDAQ listed Real Networks has risen from c.1.3 USD to over 4 USD since it sold Napster in August 2020.I think that should go some way to telling you how the US market views getting the declining sales and debt of Napster off its balance sheet. |

Posted at 07/2/2021 22:27 by shinto 4.6 is just a dream and unless further news is fourth coming this week share price will follow same pattern as before.Rise from around 3 up to 3.8 on news followed by retrace back to very low 3 or even back into the 2 range. Not de ramping but just pointing out the obvious. Still a traders share until new app and new model is launched. |
Posted at 04/2/2021 21:06 by andysand Over the coming weeks or maybe a month, there will be massive speculative buys that will send share prices through the roof. It's already beginning across the world but it isn't over yet.The only suckers here will be the ones who sat on their hands while they watch the astronomical, valuations awarded to tech companies. And that includes Napster. A ten bagger, under those conditions is quite possible. The trick will be to buy early, nit get greedy, and not to try and chase it once it has already begun. Suckers? Well, there will certainly be some losers who get left out. |

Posted at 18/1/2021 17:00 by andysand Right. I think I know where MVR are going now. There is already an app called Napster VR which was developed a few years ago. It uses cardboard to view. The app has very little content and seemed to have gone nowhere. It seems pretty obvious that MVR will be replacing this app ASAP with a new one based on their existing app. But possibly rebranded for the Napster user base?Anyway, the old app is herehttps://play.goo |
Posted at 13/1/2021 08:49 by tomduck I’m not a troll but genuinely intrigued as to why LTHs see massive gains coming? I have a group of stocks I follow on my screen and the MVR seems to be the only one that hasn’t seem a substantial increase in share price this past year. Personally I see VR as dead in the water BUT I have money to invest and am keen to look for bargains so if there is something I have missed about their story I’d love to know. I’m interested in making money and flexible enough to change my point of view if someone points out something I haven’t spotted. Check my message history and you will see I don’t post annoying troll like messages, my time is more valuable than that. Perhaps people here cannot articulate why the MVR should be higher, which doesn’t bode well. So what is the investment case?Bottom line the market has been heavily rewarding shares with promise since the summer but yet MVR has stalled. |
Posted at 22/12/2020 14:00 by abacus2 Something is not right here. Why would the management want to dilute the share price more than necessary, have the LG gig and all the other pay to view shows been a total failure ?We are now nearly 50% down from the share price when the Napster deal was agreed ! Is it now going to turn out that the deal is not going to go through and Napster walk away with 13m.The share price is telling us something which is far more than we are getting from the management! |
Posted at 09/12/2020 08:04 by hazl Under the terms of the Merger Agreement, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company will be merged with and into Napster (with Napster being the surviving entity). Upon completion of the transaction, Napster will be a wholly-owned 2nd-tier subsidiary of the Company. The Company has already advanced the sum of $12 million by way of cash deposits which have been placed into escrow. At any time prior to Completion, Napster may request funds to be released from the deposit in order to pay certain identi ed rights holder obligations. Any such requests must be approved by the Company. In the event that the Acquisition fails to complete due to Napster being unable to meet the closing conditions of the Acquisition, the deposit will be refunded to the Company and Napster must repay any advances to the Company within six months of Completion. In the event that the Company fails to ful l certain closing obligations under the Merger Agreement, the deposit may be forfeited. At Completion, the deposit will be released to certain of Napster's debt-holders and shareholders, and a further $3m will be deposited by the Company into an escrow account. This amount will be used to secure certain indemnity obligations of Napster's shareholders and unless used pursuant to those indemnity obligations, will be released to the former Napster shareholders 18 months after closing. As further consideration for the Acquisition, the Company will issue at least 200 million Consideration Shares to Napster's debt-holders and shareholders at Completion. The number of Consideration Shares may increase as result of any decline in the Company's share price below 4.30 pence between signing of the Merger Agreement and Completion, pursuant to the terms of the Merger Agreement. As such, the nal number of Consideration Shares to be issued will not be con rmed until Completion. As part of the Acquisition, it has been agreed that $30 million of shareholder loans that would otherwise be repayable by the Enlarged Group will be written off in full upon Completion of the Acquisition. Therefore this liability will be extinguished and no further amounts will be due following Completion. |
