As you say totally banjo, just a pity trout didn't offer all this info when he so forcibly disagreed with my views which in the majority have proven to be correct. You can only imagine say, if we go back 6 months & I had posted the below, Trout would had been over me like a rash saying how I was bashing the share just in vengeance whereas if he re-reads his own posts now, and look back at what I & others have written, then perhaps he would not had been quite so obnoxious & afraid of alternative views as he has been.

2. The Company has managed to get to where it is now by cutting costs to the core and borrowing money, this isn't sustainable, they would need more staff and the debt pile is expected to be £1.8m by end of March 2014.

3. Believe it or not this year has been a hard slog and they may or may not have reached the market expectations, but I don't see any magic solution for long term growth.

4. ......Without the FDA process and other things happening, which MDW seemed completely unable to secure (publication of French trials) it isn't going to grow quickly enough. They lack the financial clout to get these things sorted.

7. New products - there are a couple of things in development.....These are however, at the most optimistic, 18 months away from commercialisation, they need to go through approvals (we know what that means), they also need more funds and time to complete the development of them.

For all those detractors on here over the past few years to have suddenly redeveloped a new found faith in MDW is a comical farce, follow a realistic view, 6p may be a disappointment but the alternative now is far worse.

DYOR,

Trout.

Yep, it was the wording of 'not withdrawn' that took my note. Was there a previous doubt that they would comply?

I see Investec have confirmed their vote in writing to both Laborie & MDW, as well as stating:

'We confirm we have given, not withdrawn our written consent to the issue of the scheme document with the inclusion in it of references to our name....

Just for info.I contacted the Share Registrar and they informed me that if you hold shares electronically/nominee account then they (eg bank) collect the votes and forward to the Share Registrar.

I contacted my bank after this and they are sending out the forms next week.....with it being Christmas and all it's leaving a bit late postage wise.

TB - are you ramping away here and telling whoppers like yopu do at SYM?

Why have you gone missing? is it just because you've been exposed for talking rot and ramping?

charker, you need to speak with the registrars on this for a final answer, personally I am likely to get letters from my nominee a/c's and go to both court and GM and vote in person, however I am sure others are in the same boat as you and would like to know as well.

My feeling is you will need to get the nominee holder to vote on your behalf but you have to contact them.

Guys

Hold quite a few of these in various different nominee accounts. Do I submit these forms through the nominee (I have heard nothing from them) or print them out and send them in myself?

Is just one form with a "total" sufficient or one per account?

thanks

LOL can't answer the last few questions though, where has the reasoned sensible investor gone???
You are going to vote no for what exactly? what are the alternatives?

Also a gain is only a gain when you take it, paper profits can go up in smoke very quickly.

I don't know what your game is but I can say I have sold nothing and will vote NO with a fair few others. My suggestion that 5.77p was a good price was to you as you have also fallen into the camp of thinking this is a done deal so it might be a good idea to take what you can when the chance arises.

No idea if there will be a 25% no vote but a possibility.

As for posting anywhere else you are barking up the wrong tree.

Oh, and I'm sitting on a gain, a very pleasant gain.

p1nkfish, Are you after the best deal for all shareholders? I suspect you finally sold out and took your losses earlier this year and so you aren't actually thinking about others here.

That spiteful part of the human psyche that having felt a loss wants to see others feel it, in some warped and twisted feeling that it will make you feel better about your loss.
Just like the Deal or No Deal scenario where a contestant takes the deal and then wants to completely flip the game on it's head and find all the big numbers to justify their decision.

You were posting on 3i that you were 99% sure there would be no offer, you have continually run down the Company this year and yet now the price is up 133% with a firm cash offer put forward, you now seem to be saying there is a better alternative???
What exactly is that??? How will it be better than 6p in cash??? How long will it take to get us back to 6p in value??? How much more fundraising and dilution are we likely to see??? How long will it take to do it???
