I put £40K into Cater Barnard/Mercury.
Was lucky!got out with £15k and subsequently put it into HAWK.(Almost got my
money back.)
Dont think Dean is living in his Paris mansion, believe he sold
it to his school chum David Williams.and I wonder where he got his money from?!

Dead hopefully with all his(our)money left to a good cause... which would probably be the Stephen Dean memorial fund an AIM listed charity....

Seems to me take back to private ownership and give all the Directors a rise to rape a pillage any worth in the company or big bonuses?

This has been one rip off after another from the Voyager PLC days.

Any value in this company will now only pass to those in the know not private investors.

I appreciate the shares are being de-listed from AIM however will the value of my holding after the consolidation be worth 1/10 of its current market value.

Only worth £35 less selling commission at the moment.

Whats new about being shafted with this share? There are many who will
recall not so long ago about being shafted in the Dean/Williams days!

Seems to me the con goes on and may be that the existing Directors are buying stock at a good price to own larger pieces for the future and that all the previous shareholders have been shafted. (but surely these decent folk would not be so devious)

Strange trading events today given the pending corporate action.

350k purchase at .015 seems strange if consolidating at .01 in the near future?

A good captain always goes down with his ship, perhaps this could be the whole useless Board of Directors.
Can the Board be charged with corporate manslaughter for killing the company.

dell, i think your correct on that re negligable value. It would have been better for me had they simply gone bust!

And to think that many moons ago when this was Voyager IT Plc i had the chance to take a very quick 50% plus profit and missed it!

A valuable lesson learnt!

gazza - AFAIK, a delisting won't qualify you for a negligable value CGT claim, as long as the company is still going. My opinion is that you'll have to sell, to set the loss off against other gains, or you'll be left holding equity in a private company, unless they relist at a later date.
You may wish to clarify this with a tax advisor prior to a firm delisting date, as I don't profess to be an expert...

P.S. Interesting to note that this thread was started by another of ADVFN's scumbag pump'n'dumpers, Power Talker, now calling himself "goodtiming"....

gazza.

I dont understand why all these posters buy such rubbish when there's
so many really good penny stocks valued at between 3-10 mil that make
good profits and generate cash and have little debt.

Going to be a lot more bad getting removed from Aim this year.

I would just like to see one thing and that's a apology from chancer
to anybody that bought in after all that ramping !

I think it's a disgrace that a handful of people are allowed to continue
to operate in this way on these boards !

Wakey, wakey, Chancre, you lieing little cretin. So much for your post 572 "possible swing to profits for the year ending 30 September 2007.... a conservative valuation would be around 1.50p".

What you've actually got is turnover down over 50%, a loss of £1.3m, delisting of the company, and the share price halved to 0.25p bid !

You disgusting ramper, I hope you didn;t dump your stock last week, you deserve to be hoisted by your own petard in this way.

Top call chancer !

Was the 600k yours, you claim to have 400k but i suspect it
was 600k after the 200k buy.

I see you mention me and uvel, dvs, hands held up, i tipped
a bad one that went bust, been many many years since that happened,
strange thing is about 10-20 stocks you have pushed over the last
few years have gone bust or been delisted but you dont apologise.
