15/5/2008 09:34 | Knowing, Thanks. Yes I agree these do look remarkably cheap in comparison to the turnover. You can see why PAC would want to buy up the stock or the company in fact, seeing as they are turnaround specialists. | techmark
15/5/2008 09:27 | techmark best to ignore him as he knows everything ;-) Enjoy the ride as any overhang left will get eaten away. Anyway who would pay £18M for a company turning over £200M | knowing
15/5/2008 08:30 | If there are millions available at 5.8p then why has PAC paid 8.33p to buy 48 million shares. Surely it could have bought millions at 5.8p? If they are happy to buy at 8.33p and there is loads stock available at 5.8p then why wouldn't they buy more? Also how are they going to influence the company from a business point of view with a 15% stake. I reckon they will be coming in for more shares and possibly the lot. | techmark
15/5/2008 08:05 | 5.25p bid for 37.5k v 5.8p offer for 500k opening limits. | 8trader
14/5/2008 21:31 | CR you forgot to mention that he states he knows everything about everything so therefore must be "God". | knowing
14/5/2008 21:27 | HateTraders a cheapsgate, you should know that. No ADVFN subscription, no level 2 and he deals in about 5 stocks, all penny widespreads that don't move for weeks - then he spends his time on threads of stocks he doesn't hold, deramping. What a sad toe rag. CR | cockneyrebel
14/5/2008 20:36 | You and your selftrade eh. You professional. Oh by the way it's yourself you need to educated. I don't see hordes of city traders all watching selftrade screens, oddly enough!!! Adios. | techmark
14/5/2008 20:25 | techmark - 14 May'08 - 20:11 - 735 of 735 (Filtered) You are arrogant and dont have a clue what you are talking about. If they are offering 500k instantly online then there is millions available, there is always the chance of a few people buying stock at the same time online so a size is set to protect themselves, if a mm had 500k to shift the limit might be set at 75 or 100k incase of multiple buying at the same time, so a 500k limit means there's many multiple of that on offer. Dont bother to reply, i tried to educate you but you are beyong redemption. | 8trader
14/5/2008 20:11 | 8trader. 500k of shares is buttons, about 25k in money. Filter me if you like you are talking nonsense. Regards | techmark
14/5/2008 20:05 | techmark. You do want me to teach you how it works, you seem extremely arrogant about the truth and no matter how many times i try and help you the response is rude, one more silly post like that and i will filter you. Wether you like it or not there was 500k available instantly today at 5.52p, that stock will still be around tomorrow, depends if the mm's reckons they can get a bit more for it after that news. | 8trader
14/5/2008 20:01 | PAC also does debt/equity restructuring, given MSQ's debt maybe this is their angle? Who knows. As far as I can see PAC's other investments are in printers? DYOR etc | qs9
14/5/2008 19:33 | 8Trader, LOL! Look if there's an overhang and there's plenty on offer at say 5.5P and PAC are going to make a killing on the ones they paid 8.33p for, then why the hell wouldn't they buy more or bid for the company. Sorry doesn't make sense. Oh and since when does a seller set the price? A seller can ask for a price but he cannot set it. I 'd have fair bet that it was the other way round. PAC went to the owner of the large chunk of stock and suggested a price, which was accepted by the seller. | techmark
14/5/2008 19:02 | No bid this time teckmark. And i will attempt to tell you why there is still a overhang, the buyer has bought from another large seller and paid a premium, the current seller might only have a few million shares on offer which is no interest to Prime Active, the could have went to the market and picked up a few more million at 5.5p today but maybe they have enough, they stake they are turnaround experts so they wont be bidding but they will want to make this company successful and make a killing on their stake long term so long term it could be a good play, very short term there's another seller but i'm sure this news will rekindle the buying interest tomorrow. | 8trader
14/5/2008 18:20 | Well seeing as they specialise in acquiring companies and they have been fairly aggressive about buying the stock. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they bid. | techmark
14/5/2008 17:56 | Not a bid but a good second prize. Still think there will be millions available in the morning at a cheap price. | 8trader
14/5/2008 17:53 | Now why would someone want to buy 15% of a company with a bombed out share price?? Interesting. | knowing

14/5/2008 17:06 | Well the mystery buyer is revealed. They have bought 48 million shares 15% of the company paying an average of 8.33p, but the highest price paid that I saw was 8.56p. So if they plan to eventually make a bid then that will have to be their lowest offer. Regards. Here's the RNS RNS Number : 4746U Prime Active Capital PLC 14 May 2008 Prime Active Capital plc ("PAC" or the "Company") 14 May 2008 Prime Active Capital plc announces that it has acquired from existing cash resources a total of 48,403,997 ordinary shares in Media Square plc ("MSQ"), representing 15% of the issued share capital of that company. The average price paid by PAC for its shares is 8.33 pence per share. This investment is not expected to have a material impact on earnings in the current year. | techmark
14/5/2008 13:51 | I dont think you understand, i'm really happy with what Flo did and i really hope that you get your counter bid, i saw 98p, i thought that is close enough to the 104p and i took it, crookney twists it as normal as i wrote you'd be mad to sell at 85p and sure enough 98p was available within days. Msq could easily be the same, people selling below the block trade prices, you know what institutions are like, once they decide to get out of a stock they dont care how low a price they get for their stock. | 8trader
14/5/2008 13:48 | Just wait for the higher bid and if another party steps up then 140-150p is possible on FLO. | techmark
14/5/2008 13:43 | But i didnt sell too early, i sold at 98p and within days it was 80p bid. Yes a few months down the line it's gone higher but imagine what you can do with that money instead of holding for a extra 6% ? Then again i doubt anything i write will be agreed on. | 8trader
14/5/2008 13:41 | Well you sold too early in FLO so not that good and if a higher bid comes! | techmark |
