29/11/2011 09:34 | XD 2.7p today... | skyship
23/11/2011 08:26 | Apologies yes - meant for the Assura thread. MCKS still doing ok. Will add if they get close to a £1. | topvest
23/11/2011 08:20 | Eh? Shurely shome mishtake, topvest. Wrong thread I think. | lord gnome
23/11/2011 08:19 | Rights Issue took me by surprise, but worth taking up I think - with long term financing sorted they will be looking pretty secure. Interim dividend cut is a blow, but sensible. At least they have said that the final dividend is back on, so could get 1 or 2p for the full year. | topvest
23/11/2011 08:15 | Mr Salmon? Surprised that the Mark-to-Market write-down of the interest rate swaps should be quite so severe. Looks as though it will sentence us to further months of sideways movement. The true NAV is of course the EPRA NAV, which is now the headline figure in the Interim Statement. Also, with the LIBOR rate turning sharply higher recently, the future direction of interest rates is pretty well a given, so that write-down will be reversed come the Finals. Back to sleep here...zzzzzzzzz. Wake me when the bid comes! | skyship
23/11/2011 08:05 | Anyone talked to Mr. Salmon about the swaps? | sleepy
17/11/2011 11:43 | Yes, looks a great deal. Happy to hold these long term. | topvest
17/11/2011 10:45 | Seems a good acquisition although not massively material. | stemis
17/11/2011 10:25 | Have to say, that is a fantastic purchase. | crawford
17/11/2011 10:03 | Incidentally, the Interims next Wednesday will hopefully remind us of the remarkable value here. | skyship
17/11/2011 09:56 | Buybacks are rightly criticised in the case of conventional trading companies - just take a look at the Homebase buybacks earlier this year! However for asset-backed investment companies I believe they are a good idea as they raise the NAV for the benefit of residual holders. That said, when there are possible acquisitions around like the one announced today, perhaps that is a better way to progress. | skyship
17/11/2011 09:33 | Would much rather than undertook a share buyback around current levels. There is and has been an overhang for a very long time here. Clearing it out wouldn't cost too much. Would enhance EPS and NAV. | horndean eagle
17/11/2011 09:21 | acquisition | hugepants
22/9/2011 22:06 | Skyship. O.K Thanks for confirmation | yupawiese2010
22/9/2011 13:52 | yupa - yes, definitely a BUY. Could you possibly imagine a MM taking 50k on his book. Getting a bid for even 2k is a challenge at times! Today we've seen AT trade sales for 35k @ 116p - then in comes our buyer again for another 40k @ 116.5p. | skyship
22/9/2011 12:17 | trading what 50%/60% below NAV doubt if anyone would sell 50k's worth | divinausa1
21/9/2011 19:55 | skyship. Are you sure your (mystery buyers) 50k was a buy not a sell !!! | yupawiese2010
21/9/2011 14:08 | Our mystery buyer (has to be him surely!) has returned with 50k @ 117p | skyship
09/9/2011 15:30 | Very disappointing performance here for a stock so far below NAV. You'd think that and a big fat gipsy dividend would underpin it. | crawford
26/8/2011 17:17 | Link to the CP+ thread - ADVFN having problems with non-alphabet symbols in the EPIC box, though hoping to sort it soon! | skyship
18/8/2011 11:37 | Financial Turmoil Boosts Europe's Best Real Estate | divinausa1
09/8/2011 15:19 | Divina - An 8.5% yield on the current 8.3p dividend would be really bleak - 98p!! At the moment we're bouncing on the crucial & pivotal 120p - as per posts of mine a couple of months ago. Our buyer appears to have taken another 50k @ 122p - first trade @ just after 10.00 this morning. | skyship
09/8/2011 01:47 | market may drag it down to 1.10 skyship, currently share price back to August 2009 level 8.5% yield and NAV at £2.20. at that price i will buy a shed load | divinausa1
08/8/2011 17:25 | Now our "Mystery Shopper" takes another 35k @ 123.5p - definitely a buy as no MM would take the stock onto the book at that level; and also the share price immediately moved better - before drifting again in the afternoon. | skyship |
