11/6/2020 14:51 | Calm down lol you will burst a blood vessel Selling at 73.8 earlier in the week turned into a good move | basem1
10/6/2020 16:15 | If it's a telephone trade and you split it, say an hr later you decide to sell more, they will go back to the same broker. Ot at least that is how it used to work. Very rarely place a telephone order these days. | essentialinvestor
10/6/2020 16:11 | Right. Because they're always so ethical in return when pulling quotes, putting up fake trades, widening spreads, showing transparency etc etc. Etiquette - spare me... | imastu pidgitaswell
10/6/2020 16:08 | Been told several times that it's not...market etiquette. However if there is an online quote available, I dont see the issue?. | essentialinvestor
10/6/2020 11:46 | I nearly always break mine down into smaller trades I was told this was not ethical by one of the dealing team at ii | basem1
09/6/2020 19:04 | Miss W, were you attempting to sell a fair chunk?, your entire MCB holding?. As one alternative, see what the max online bid is at a price you find acceptable. If you wanted to sell 20k shares and there is no online bid available, then reducing it to 5k etc. Or as mentioned above a telephone trade through your broker can often work, at some extra cost. Although if sitting on a sizeable gain and wanting out, paying a few extra £ is not so much of an issue. | essentialinvestor
09/6/2020 07:56 | There is also free L2 info but I have never used that as I rely on my traders instinct. | basem1
08/6/2020 20:26 | I am with iii and am pretty happy with there service I place trades on a daily basis and largely very good You will always get times when stocks tight and you have to go limit or NT but I am very happy with them and the 3.99 dealing costs with no other fees. I am on a by invitation only package because of the amount of trades I place and pay no monthly fees, just a straight 3.99 per trade | basem1
08/6/2020 15:33 | Could have made a little killing this morning but the brokers iii failed to deal having tried every possible way to sell at 77, 78 and 79. I advise anyone who wishes to deal on line that they choose someone other than iii | miss womble
08/6/2020 14:19 | They really don't like this one. Day after day of relentless buying until finally it takes off - and then stamped all the way back down in a couple of hours. Just ahead of Friday's close. Feeling oppressed... Might well buy some more hereabouts. | imastu pidgitaswell
08/6/2020 12:39 | Well that's killed it stone dead - understandable, but still annoying. Anyway, still holding all. E - I dunno, had a few successes, but always feel could have done better; also missed out on a few that I had been watching (SNR, VLX, CCC, CCL) - just thought they all had too high a risk element compared with ones I did go for. Extraordinary times make for extraordinary markets. Just got to take what you can and not worry about missed opportunities - they will always happen. | imastu pidgitaswell
08/6/2020 12:10 | Have taken a quick turn here, luck to those holding. Ima, you are on a hot streak atm. Very well done. | essentialinvestor
08/6/2020 12:08 | There will be more arsing about with the spread and quick drops to come - but really should be nearer 100 before too long. Best to sit out the machinations. Probably... | imastu pidgitaswell
08/6/2020 11:31 | By? Just wondering why it didn't really take off after the first one in the Telegraph, given the almost non-stop buying since the trading update on 19th May. Maybe all it took was a bit of whingeing on here... | imastu pidgitaswell
08/6/2020 11:22 | was tipped over the weekend... | aljm
08/6/2020 11:20 | Go on my son! | bookbroker
08/6/2020 08:03 | Tipped again? Or just re-tipped after the farcical price action of the past couple of weeks? | imastu pidgitaswell
07/6/2020 14:25 | With the price of oil low this will definitely have had an impact on input and transport costs....highlighted in the last update | fostany99
06/6/2020 22:19 | Even if the supermarkets have them nailed down on price, which has been the problem in the past for MCB, Surely the cost of raw materials must have gone down recently... | tp6
05/6/2020 10:57 | Pricing power at the tills, but not necessarily between MCB and their customers. As ever, the big customer dictates the terms. But better position to be in, for sure. Trades data continues to belie the lack of price movement. Forgotten how this could happen - one of the reasons I have tended to avoid smaller caps on SETS. | imastu pidgitaswell
05/6/2020 10:53 | What's stopping these guys from cleaning up? Has anyone checked the prices of the dishwater tablets at their local supermarket yet? We'll be taking out mortgages soon to buy those things I tell ya! :) | sirrux
03/6/2020 12:28 | Had a very small amount. Was going to pass because of net debt, but let's see how it goes. | essentialinvestor
03/6/2020 09:53 | Yes, you don't get too many of those. In fact, I've never had 250%+ in a few days. Don't see that happening here, but looking for other more moderate possibilities. | imastu pidgitaswell |
